“Okay, okay. Risky crime is not for you…do you want to go to the pet shop then? That’s like the closest we can get to the zoo for free. Look at all the animals.” he suggested instead. It was the only other thing that he could come up with that seemed remotely interesting.

“The zoo is probably still open, Julian... let’s just go there until it closes...” Milo shook his head a little, trying to shake off that ridiculous idea. Even if, in another time, he would have thought breaking in was a good idea. Now, though, it was too risky. They could get caught. They could get separated. They might never see each other ever again. Milo wouldn’t let that happen, not if he could prevent it. “Get a sweatshirt, Julian. It’ll get cold.”

“I can find the money, it shouldn’t be that damn hard to get money. I’ve done it before, y’know? Enough money to keep us going.” he began to pace, wondering if there was anything that he could potentially sell off for extra cash. “We could always just break in?”

“Break in?!” Milo’s head whipped around so fast, his neck looked like it was about ready to snap. Eyes narrowed at Julian. He’d already begun to grab a sweatshirt when Julian suggested the idea and the fabric now barely clung to the tips of his fingers, sliding slowly off then, about to drop to the floor. “We’re not breaking in.. it’s light out. It’s probably open..”

@theblackxdog “It’s never too cold for the zoo. Don’t you want to see animals or some shit? Why you gotta turn down the idea?” he huffed, arms crossed against his front; eyes refusing to leave his face.

“It’s not?” Somehow, he didn’t believe that was true, but let Julian talk. It was pointless to argue with him about little things like this, so he let it go, arms giving a little shrug. “Do we have money to go to the zoo?”

"I see..." Frowns, muttering - almost under his breath but loud enough for the other to hear. "Did it ever occur to you that maybe my being so quiet is because you're not very pleasant to be around? That and I think if I remain silent, you might leave me alone faster."
