Drake flew towards the beach. Seeing a woman coming off the ship and onto the beach, Drake decided to inspect her first. He smirked devilishly as he approached the woman from the air. His bat like wings flapped as he approached his target, descending lower and lower. He landed down 5 feet in front of the woman.
At first glance, people would think Drake as a demon before a dragon. With horns coming out of his head, bat like wings, and claws and fangs, it was natural for someone to think of him to be something out of hell. And Drake faced much prejudice, ridicule, and fear because of it, but he always tried to make a good first impression. He flashed her a fanged smile.
“Hi there, i’m Drake. And you are?” he asked. The first thing to do was get information. Drake was an expert strategist, he never did anything without knowing what he was doing first. He’d ask about this pirate crew’s intent, and if he didn’t like their answer, he’d kick their asses. Simple as that.
Still in her panicked state Nami was under the full belief that this massive flying thing was going to blow her up. That is what always seemed to happen the moment her crew landed on foreign shores. Taking out her clima-tact she readied to Cyclone-tempo the mysterious creature away from her radius of being. However....
At a closer look Nami noticed a smile. A rather large one. And with that a human body. Who looked rather friendly. Holding her clima-tact firmly in hand she relaxed her body, albeit a little. She was glad that it was her that had jumped to the island first, the most logical of the baka-crew, because if it was Luffy he probably would have asked the creature-person to join their crew by now. She wondered if perhaps all inhabitants of this island had the same features?
Watching the male land, she nervously took in all his features, especially the horns, claws, and wings. Sweat dropped from her forehead, but she stood up a little straighter. “I’m Nami. You’re a local of this island hmm?” He seemed friendly enough, she wasn’t going to appear rude to a citizen, although maybe steal his things later on.

“I knew you were no match for me!” Nami threw her cards across the table, leaning back on her chair with a wide smile stretched across her face, a glint in her eyes. Her cheeks were tinted with a shade of red, a sure sign that she had had her fair share of drinks.
The moment Zoro declared a card match against her, the rest of the crew shuffled out of the room, not wanting to be around when things started to get violent and out of control. The pair never turned down each others challenges, in a way it was their form of friendship. It was that and their love for drinking that brought the two of them to this point.
“I swear I saw you hiding some more money behind there Zoro!” Nami laughed, taking a another sip of her drink. When drunk, Nami turned unusually nice towards the swordsman!
“Your memory isn’t great when drunk. You pointed that out several rounds ago, and I lost it several rounds ago. Why can’t we ever bet in something I’m half decent at?” He grumbled, shuffling his cards if only for something to do.
Giving up and letting them fall back to the tabletop, he likewise leant on his chair, taking a deep swig of booze as he did so.
He’d lost what Beri he had, but at least there was still plenty of alcohol to go round- small mercies.
He gazed up at the ceiling, discontented.
“Why don’t we bet on something like me beating you in a sword fight, eh? You’d have to part way with your precious coins easily.”
“It’s because you aren’t very good at many things Zoro.” Nami dead panned, no mercy in her words. She started counted the money that she had won, if had been a hefty amount, and she wouldn’t let a shilling of it go to waste.
“Well you know Zoro...” Starting to hum a tune happily whilst counting her money. “If you wanted to bet on sword fighting, we might as well start attending under ground arenas. You know where shirtless guys fight, no rules. I could bet on you and we would split the money.” The ideas kept flowing into Nami’s head, how she and her partner in crime could potentially earn a lot of money.

Slamming his cards down on the table, he glared across the table.
“Alright, I’m officially broke, and outta money to bet on. You win.”
He reallllllyyyy should’ve known better than to go against the sly navigator- yes, he’d won a couple rounds of the cardgame, but Nami won back his earnings in a fell swoop. Pride had dictated he keep going, drunkenness dictating he’d have to win eventually. Both, he wanted to mentally punch.
If he wasn't a complete moron, he wouldn't have gone up against her in a game he only half knew.

Continuation Of Drake’s Starter:
Drake sat atop the volcano of Mt. Volcano Island. The dragon boy looked out at the sea, seeing a ship approaching. It bore a skull on it's flag, one with a straw hat. A pirate crew. He'd protect the island from invaders, thugs, and villains. He promised that. And yet, he longed for the day that he could join a pirate crew. He stood up and readied himself to fly to the beach. "I wonder what the day will bring me...."
Nami looked out from the pirate ship, the day was still young, the air cold against her cheeks as she snuggled into her jacket for warmth. Honestly, she was always the first one to wake, the rest of the bakas had no sense of caution. It was a miracle they had lasted this long.
Staring out, withdrawn into her own thoughts, Nami’s senses felt slightly off. When something was going to happen, this always seemed to be the feeling that visited Nami, call it a sixth sense if you will. Shaking off the tingle down her spine, Nami looked out at the approaching island. One that she had never stepped foot on before. They had decided prior that the crew would not being staying on this island long, so Nami ultimately wanted to get a head start on mapping out the island. Waking up early and waiting for the ship to reach the shore. Snapping out of her daze Nami thought it was about time to get her belongs and ready herself to jump the ship to shore.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally dressed and ready to go Nami came out of her lodgings and saw that the ship had finally come to shore. Deciding not to wake her Captain up, because he was annoying and draining, Nami jumped off the ship and onto the sand. Looking up only to realise there was a flying thing coming towards her.
“No..No...No...WHAT IS THAT?” losing all composure she had beforehand.
