– Yeah, right. Of course you are sorry – a bit of sarcasm could be heard from his voice . Subaki was sure that the outlaw enjoyed… no, he loved bothering Subaki, so the pegasus knight was never sure when he was just playing or being serious with him. And that was probably the worst part.
Showing the imperfect sides of him to others was never easy, but all of that seemed to matter less when he was with Niles, and that was truly a big relief. However, the fear of being made fun of because of his imperfections, his feelings, was always present, and even if a part of him wanted to believe in him, another part told him to be careful.
– Oh, so now I am the mean one? Unbelievable – he stated while crossing his arms, still trying to play his game even if the blush on his cheeks hadn’t faded out yet. It wasn’t fair after all, but if that’s the way things would be, he could still try to enjoy himself a little. – …Well, I was going to start worrying if that was the best you got. – his gaze met the other’s one, and though he wanted to look away (mostly because of embarrassment), his eyes stayed the same, longing. – Show me what you can do then. –
Expecting a worse outcome he couldn’t avoid raising his eyebrows in surprise for a brief moment. Subaki probably thought that he was playing around even though that wasn’t happening this time.
Bewitched by the sight there wasn’t more to say, he didn’t want to miss this chance by paying attention to the thoughts that threatened to take over his mind. For this occasion he was going to be selfish and pretend the only thing that existed was the pegasus knight in front of him... Like it happened all the times when he was with him. Even if Niles wasn’t worthy of Subaki’s attention at all.
Still avoiding any sharp answer like he was terrorised of messing up he proceeded to pull the other closer in a tight hug with one of his arms and took carefully the redhead’s chin with his free hand just before engaging in a kiss. Letting go of all trail of thoughts he kissed him deeply and even a little roughly. He wanted to let him know that this wasn’t no game, that he really meant a lot to him and there was nothing to be afraid of. In fact, he wished for the moment to last forever as he didn’t know what could happen when the contact ended.

He probably should had punched him on the face when he first got the chance, but now it was too late to regret all of his bad decisions. Subaki could feel his cheeks burning because of how hard he was blushing, but he felt too confused to even care about it.
A mix of emotions ran through his head. Of course, he truly felt angry, but he also felt really embarrassed and.. maybe happy?? It didn’t felt bad after all, but Niles should had said something before or… well, he could never actually expect something like that from him.
– …O-Of course I do, what did you expected? – he finally said, trying to avoid the urge to also lick his own lips. He obviously failed with that. – You taste like… Wait, no!! I’m not going to tell you that. –
What a surprise, he totally expected to be cut off and called out for such questionable behaviour... honestly, he felt kind of... relieved it went that way. The real question now was how much could he push him until there was no turning back.
–Yeah, sorry for ever doubting you.– his voice resonated playful at first, as he was completely charmed by the other’s confusion. Niles always found that extremely cute, not that he was going to ever admit that out loud.
–Why do you always have to be so mean? Or maybe... that wasn’t good enough for you? I can do better than that if that’s what you want too. – His voice turned to a more serious one while he slowly got closer looking directly at his eyes. He could try to steal another one but... he wanted to at least have some reassurance that it wasn’t that one-sided at the end. Look at who is the true fool here.

That was actually entertaining to watch... to say the least. But he still felt like something was lacking so when the question came, a sudden realisation sparkled.
–Oh~, I see how it is then.– he seemed to go for a bite there but unexpectedly stopped and went down, without letting go of Subaki’s face yet he stole a rough and brief kiss of his lips and retreated while letting him go, licking his own.
–Well, you actually taste sweet. Who could have imagined that.– he was aware that he went too far and that there would be consequences. But the other was just too dense and having death so close it was better to just do that at least one time.

—Cuando lo encontremos, no vuelvas a perderlo de vista, ¿bien?— las calles siempre eran peligrosas, quién sabe que le podría haber pasado a esa niña si la hubiese encontrado alguien con malas intenciones. Encontrar a otro albino no podría ser tan difícil, ¿o sí? Y en el peor de los casos tenía su arma colgando de su espalda.
