-]– ;; “Sure as hell shows when you’re soundin’ that cranky.” A playful smile formed as he’d give the pinkette a mock bow as a response.

“The nearest vending machine has a variety set to tailor your taste. Soda, juice or fresh water. What will it be?”

Image

I don’t sound cranky, she says nothing short of defensive, and(you guessed it) cranky. The girl doesn’t co-operate with heat, what can she say? At least somebody is being agreeable in her hour of need-- she wouldn’t get half as much sympathy from Iori or Houka.

Fresh water. None of that cheap stuff commoners drink either, got it? Jakuzure huffs, before taking a brief moment to check her manners. Please, and thank you.”

He was fully aware of his position– height meant little in the face of his superior, and it was as it should be. She wasn’t a Three-Star for no reason, after all.

“The darkness allows me to concentrate better– the spirits that are evoked at times are not easily kept in this realm in the light, either.” he explained, not really expecting Jakuzure to entirely understand, if at all. Besides, there were a few candles lit around the room– that was more than enough light.

Image

You’re as weird as ever, Seishin.

Regardless of that fact she can’t deny that his club gets results-- he makes her look better(though it isn’t exactly difficult to look better than Monkey’s clubs-- they’re all primitive to start with). Jakuzure isn’t an idiot, she understands what he is saying, though quickly shrugs it off. Everybody has their methods, even if they are tacky and creepy.

The Annual Festival is coming up, by the way. Try to be more creative than a cheap haunted house, yeah? All club plans are in by Friday. I’m sure I don’t need to remind you, of all people.

Sharp words were met with a barrier of indifference– he didn’t care what her objective for coming into the darkened clubroom was. After a few moments, he returned to his full height, looking down at the pinkette.

“Indeed I am, Jakuzure-sama.” he turns, grabbing a small folder from the neatly organized desk at the head of the room. He held the folder for her to take, if she so wished. “Here is the latest statistics regarding the club’s recent activities.”

image

Good,” she says curtly as she takes the folder, cradling it against her chest with one arm, the other crooked so she may poise her hand onto her hip. What Jakuzure lacks in statue she makes up with attitude; his height is no means intimidating, as she casts the larger shadow, metaphorically.

The shorter’s gaze moves around the dim room, mouth twitching into a tiny frown. Do you live in perpetual darkness? It wouldn’t kill you to let some light in-- or would it?

Seishin gave a bow to his superior, an arm placed over his chest. He wasn’t expecting such a sudden visit from the Non-Athletic Committee leader.

“Jakuzure-sama– how can the Occult Club be of assistance?”

image

Why’d I ever need anything from the Occult Club?

Impassive as ever, the snake’s silver tongue lashes its sharp words in a breath of nonchalance. One eyelid flickers open and she gazes upon him-- it feels like an eternity since they’d last spoken but she knows it’s far fewer than that. It’s a weird feeling she can’t just shake

Just... Club stats. You know how it goes. You are still in charge around here, right?

“We’ve been here since the mall has opened.       Don’t you think all of this is a bit excessive?       I mean even for you.”

He’s practically carrying the                  entire mall with all the bags                  he’s carrying. He needs to                   at least eat lunch.

" What a bore!                   Y'know for someone with your stamina you'd think                         that you could handle it without whining. "

She'd be more inclined to keep yapping at him if her stomach wasn't rumbling at the mere mention of food -- huh, perhaps it has been a somewhat long day after all. The petite elite folds her arms tight across her chest, scouring the mall floor for some place they can rest and refuel.

" Food court's this way!                      Anythin' you want, my treat. Just don't go spreadin' my                      good faith around, yeah? I have a reputation to maintain. "
