I hope everyone defends the next person accused of blasphemy as much as they are defending Junaid. Where were all of these people when those committing blasphemy were burned alive? Where were they when people were lynched or when a mentally ill girl was killed over the same laws people are defending Junaid against?

We are thrilled to announce Nourishing Neighbours' second winter care pack distribution at the end of December! For those of you who are not familiar with our project, we assemble and distribute care packs that consist of food and other basic necessities for homeless people in downtown Toronto.

Please message us if you'd like to donate any of the items listed below. We are accepting monetary donations and they will solely be used for purchasing care pack contents. Anything goes a long way!

- Water bottles - Granola bars  - Fruit cups - Socks - Gloves  - Hats - Lip balm of any kind - Toothbrushes - Toothpaste  - First aid supplies (no sharp objects or any alcohol-based substances) - Tissues  - Sandwich ingredients (bread, mayonnaise, mini ketchup packets, lettuce, bologna, tuna, etc.)
