If you had met me a couple years ago, you would have seen how unhappy I was. Conference was not a high priority for me anymore. Piercing was something I still enjoyed, but not to the depth that I previously did. I was taking immense chunks of time to do some very serious self care. This guy did a bunch of legwork in chasing me down and bringing me into the IRIS family, and I'm so so thankful for it. I'm happy to be where I am, and I have him to blame for finally being presented with a job that got me to settle down and stay put a little. A job that got me to finally become a member of the APP, take classes again, and try to enjoy myself at our annual conference! I have a lot of reasons to smile these days thanks to IRIS.
