If you've been following Wolfwizard Radio either on CHRW or on the facebook you will know that yesterday (September 3rd) was the last episode of the weekly show and that the blog will not continue. That being said I would like to thank everyone who supported WWR throughout the years either by listening to the weekly show or by checking out the blog. I’ve met so many great people and gained so many awesome experiences over the years and for that I am so grateful. With the end of Wolfwizard comes a new project called SheWolf Radio. A music blog similar to WWR but focusing on female and female fronted. To find details on SheWolf and to keep track on the new blog before the launch follow me on Facebook and on Twitter. I’m taking a break...

I've had some time to think about it and I've made the decision that I have to take time away from the blog. It's time for me to figure out some stuff that hasn't been right in some time and it's been affecting my personal life but also the quality and quantity of work I've been producing. Lately it's been too easy to take off days at a time from maintaining the site. What started out as a fun hobby has become a source of stress and disappointment and in order for me to figure out why I need to deal with what's going on with me.

Let me explain. Last year when I started the Wolfwizard Radio blog I had just gone through a pretty emotional time and was going through a lot of personal stuff and questioning a lot of things in my life. But I decided to plow into planning and working to get the blog launched. While that kept me tugging along for some time now I’ve slowed down. I’m a procrastinator so I’ve never been great and sitting my ass down and getting work out but lately there have been days at a time when pumping out any content is impossible. Between maintaining this site and the radio show plus having a full time job, a social life, and still keeping up with everything else around me, I’ve hardly had time for myself and I’m starting to suffer. By filling the time that I should have been spending on my self help and on and instead using it forcing myself to get posts up and feeling guilty when I don't, my emotions have become unbalanced and my anxiety has gotten so bad.  So I need to time back to get myself balanced again.  It's caused the blog to become a choir and making things like going to shows and supporting local music less of a fun night out but more like an obligation. As well as this my work life and social life have been affected by this as well. And that’s just the nut shell version of it... So something needs to get cut and as easy as it's been to hide away in my room, that's not healthy so I'm going to keep the social side of things open. 

Sorry if that was a lot of rambling and if you just scrolled it I'm totally fine with that. I just hope that my reasoning makes sense and that this doesn't seem like I'm just quitting because I also plan to use this time to find out how to make the WWR blog better for me and those who read it. Also I feel like that I should mention that playlist for the Thursday show's on CHRW will continue to be posted here as the show will go on (that wasn't on purpose).
