Major Benjamin Tallmadge

“I’m ready when you are, Agent Ben….” She dutifully breathed. Her badge now pinned securely to her work-belt and her hand-gun resting within its holster. She was ready for action.

“Alright… let’s do this.”

“What scum-ball are we hunting down today?” She asked looking at the files. 

“Simcoe.”

“Great. Are we going to go in well prepared?” Anna questioned. “Or do we have to go unarmed?” 

“We need to be very prepared.”

“Good. I think our boss Mr. Washington might have a few guns and weapons  for us to use,” Anna replied, giving her partner a gentle smile. 

“I am sure that he does.”

‘I should hate to let this Simcoe have the upper hand,” she added, fixing her perfectly made leather and fingerless gloves upon her delicate wrists and knuckles. 

“Yes… we all do, Anna.”

“Does our boss know where Simcoe has last been spotted,” the FBI Agent questioned her partner.

Benjamin let out a sad sigh. “Sadly, no… he does not. But he is trying very, very hard to locate that rascal.”

“I am sure we can draw him out. Somehow…..” Anna stated softly. “Where does the commander suggest we start looking?” She quizzed curiously. 

“He told me in Long Island.”

Simcoe is in Long Island? Well, what are we waiting for? Lets get ourself the rat,” she stated.

"Yes, we must. Before he does something bad."

Anna let out an airy chuckle as she continued to help drag the fallen red-coat up the steps. “You don’t suppose taking his boots off would help any?” She quizzed in a gruff and straining tone. 

“Whatever makes you happy.”

“I be just talking, Ben,” Anna softly stated. He was far heavier than Anna had expected.

"Alright… alright. Let's just do what we can."
