reminder that 30 isn’t old, it’s very normal to not accomplish everything in your 20s, and that it is never too late to learn that thing you’ve always wanted to learn. you’re always growing. that’s a good thing.

Who the hell accomplishes everything in their 20s? Who made that a thing?

I was 48 when I started my apprenticeship to become a tattoo artist. I was 50 when I married the love of my life.

You’ve got time.

I needed this right now. I’ve got time!!!

I didn’t get my first book published until I was 38. At 53, I’m about to sign a contract for my tenth. You have time.

What’s best is I love all three portrayals, basically anything with this man in it he’s so precious.

UK Gordon Ramsay is dealing with sensible people and edible food. US Ramsay is dealing with people who have actual health code violations in their restaurants yet claim to be good chefs running an acceptable business. Masterchef Junior Ramsay is teaching kids how to cook. No fucking WONDER there’s a massive difference.

video description: a tiny, tubby orange and white kitten is rolling around on a patterned blanket. someone approaches him with an appropriately small brush and attempts to groom him, succeeding in brushing his side and tummy but then having to field his clumsy attempts at smacking the brush. he is so cute it is criminal.

so it turns out great tits can and do kill and eat both other birds and small mice when food is scarce, particularly during winter, and i just cannot get over this picture. it looks like the kind of photo hunters take with their kills. i’m losing it

Daughters really do share deep rooted emotional trauma with/inherit deep rooted emotional trauma from their mothers and I know it’s true bc whenever I try to approach a sensitive topic with my mom, no matter how calm and civil and patient I intend to be no matter how much I’ve practiced what I want to say no matter how OK I was even a moment before, I always involuntarily burst into desperate, angry hysterics the moment I open my mouth. As though it’s coming from a place buried so far within me I cannot even register its existence until it has overtaken me. And I know I’m not alone on this either. There is so much we internalize from our mothers that we never learn to contend with. That we never even learn to recognize

Every woman is essentially a Russian Nesting Doll of trauma. There’s my pain, then open me up and neatly nested inside is my mother and her pain, crack her open and there’s her mother, and then

Some pages of my new art journal. I bought a calendar with lots of beautiful old plant drawings which I really love :‘) I use them for my journal and they make me so happy! I‘m currently preparing for my psychotherapy exam and was quite productive today. I‘m so glad that I finally managed to start studying after feeling lazy and exhausted the whole weekend. I hope you‘re all doing well xx

small Raihan headcanons because I apparently just love dragon lovers:

- he can’t find pants that fit his long-ass legs - he’s Indian (listen I saw art of him having a bindi beneath his weird snapback thingy and I am L I V I N G)(and IDK Britain has a looooooong history with India *European side-eye*)

Raihan and Leon 10000% have fanclubs and you can bet your ass those clubs are at each other's throats over who is better. If Galar has social media, you can count on crazed fans.

Gloria: Oi, Leon, can you help me look for Raihan?

Leon: Yeah, sure, one sec…*plays Darude - Sandstorm*

Raihan: *bursts through wall, dancing, with sunglasses*
