my favourite grey's moment was when cristina was begging teddy to stay, asking her what she wanted, and when teddy said owen, cristina screamed you can have him. such a cristina thing to do and she should never feel ashamed about it. she'd trade the ginger for cardio in a heartbeat. another reading of this is that cristina was just gay for teddy and that makes sense to me too. anyway. cristina yang >>>>>

who is doing it like cristina yang. she’s a genius. she’s obsessed with herself. she gets high off of wrapping her hands around beating human hearts. she’s aro-coded. she’s avoidant as fuck. she’s suspiciously intimate with her equally avoidant girlbestfriend and sometimes homoerotic for her hot girlmentor. she’d sacrifice her husband for surgery. she operated on her girlbestfriend’s husband at gunpoint. she stayed awake for four days after a plane crash. she doesn’t do laundry. she’s a racehorse trapped in a holding pattern again and again and again. she healed her trauma by catching a fish

Cristina: I swear to god I’m the only one here with a braincell.

Meredith, Alex, Izzie, and George: ALL HAIL the keeper of the sacred braincell!

The George and Bailey relationship was magic that can never be repeated.

George is literally the saddest and most pathetic puppy of a man and Bailey is a tough teacher who immediately doesn't take any shit from the most utterly unhinged and messy human beings who ever lived - but she also gives them every opportunity that they've earned with hard work and intelligence. But George LOVES Bailey. He's like - almost ironically frightened of her!? But it's never fear - it's awe. He genuinely loves and respects Bailey SO much and he is so frightened of letting her down because she's his mentor and he wants to live up to her expectations of him as a doctor.

And at the SAME TIME!?!? When Bailey needed someone to emotionally support her through her childbirth because her husband physically could not be in the same room as her? When she was so stressed and panicked and vulnerable and in pain?? George repaid her faith in him by sitting with her, and physically holding on to her so that she knew she wasn't going to labor alone.

Dude she named her son after him. Tuck's middle name is George. I'm emotional.

One of my favourite subtle comedic moments in Grey's Anatomy is 4x16 when Lexie is in the supply closet reading the confidential resident files she stole from the Chief's office and has paged George there

Because when George gets to the supply closet and opens the door, Lexie whispers "Who's there?" and he whispers back "George O'Malley. I was paged to the supply closet?" like it's just an everyday occurrence which is funny enough on its own

But then Lexie whispers "Are you alone?" and then George, who has realized the mysterious voice is Lexie, just says, in his normal volume voice "... Lexie?" which is even funnier

And of course nothing tops the *gasp* "Alexandra Caroline Grey" when he saw her with all the files which literally made me laugh out loud

bro WHY didn’t George tell his family that he performed heart surgery on his own in an elevator. “I assisted…” no bro don’t tell them that. tell them about your best moment :(
