Sketches of a Miss

@finalelysium-blog / finalelysium-blog.tumblr.com

Nonsensical description goes here. This is supposed to be an art blog, but yes. Prone to not updating for a while because of college and the like, but always drawing.
Expect sketches. Mostly sketches, but many sketches.

Hiddenite, the fusion of Turquoise and Petalite.

The two of them make an incredibly stable fusion because the two are each other’s “better halves”. However, Both prefer to remain separate because they enjoy each other’s physical company. Particularly, Turquoise enjoys doting over Petalite, though Petalite “always wants to be with Turquoise”.

As a result, this form remains “hidden” for the most part. Either way, she has a very boyish and cool personality, and what Petalite and Turquoise cannot achieve, she can. She can use a combination of both Turquoise and Petalite’s abilities, and is an incredibly mobile and acrobatic fighter. They can maintain this fusion for a long time if need be, but again, prefer not to.

Turquoise and Petalite height and body shape comparison. I did better this time around in copying Steven Universe’s Style, I would hope.

Turquoise’s weapons are a pair of sabers. I went for a more conservative look, this time around. Turquoise is reserved with a mild personality, but is playful to some degree. She has a fascination with the earth’s sky and can manipulate air and moisture to the point where she can fly with cloud-like wings. For the most part, she uses it as a supplementary ability to provide cloud over or mist to hide her movements.

On occasion, she’ll water Petalite’s good plants. Turquoise mostly chides her when she finds out Petalite does things that are unsafe for others.

This may be the most I do for Petalite.

The gem comes in pale green, pastel yellows and pinks, and white/colorless. Her weapon of choice is a hammer fitted with a rough specimen of Petalite indicating her somewhat brusque nature. It was a deliberate design choice to make her color scheme somewhat “flower-like”. Where she walks, flowers grow in her wake– or at the very least, nearby vegetation seems to reflect her emotions. She likes to make flowers bloom and nurture poisonous flowers along with other carnivorous plants for fun.

I couldn’t think of a more exciting color scheme, but yeah. I like it anyway.

So, now it’s shaping up. I don’t know whether to add Shoutmon DX, but maybe I’ll make the amendment later.

I edited (King)Shoutmon’s scarf to reflect Omegamon’s cape instead of doing just inverting the color further and making his scarf a plain red. There’s a lot of yellow/gold going on and this line reminds me of Hackmon’s to some degree because of the consistency through evolutions, but I’m fond of this Shoutmon regardless.

So far he’s been going through hit and misses in-game. Some say that his partner is stealing all his luck roll-wise.

Drawing a bit before I start working full-time tomorrow. Right after college came to an end.

This is Abigail Curtis, and her partner, Shoutmon. Classical meets Rock in this instance. Abby is actually mute, so Shoutmon decided for himself that he’d be loud enough for the two of them. Because they’re both avid music lovers, he declares that “they’re on the same wavelength”, and claims to be able to hear her voice better than anyone.

These two were made for a Digimon RPG I got involved with, so maybe you’ll see more of them when I have the time.

Nora DeHaven and her partner, Ambymon and all his stages.

Did a big redesign for them. I’m quite happy in general. Especially with SeaDeusmon’s “Gravis” Crossbow, which is also a functional anchor.
