what if ralsei is just socially inexperienced. like theres nothing wrong with him for his reactions or dismissal of things or thinking things can be solved with just a hug

he just hasn't had friends before now and hasn't had to worry about other people's feelings or been in these situations ever before and has only ever dreamed of it, to him a hug means so much and can make him feel a lot better because he's never been hugged before, and he assumes it must be like that for everyone else
