“I am not sure I’m meant to see such things,” Sigma replies as his eyes close, his breathing beginning to be deeper, slower. It’s an attempt to ground himself. “I believe I have seen far too much already. My experiments…my work…I am yet to finish it. And yet, the consequences, this…this music!”
Hold it together! The music rises in volume, becoming a cacophony in his mind. His self-soothing was not sufficient this time.
