The Mai Tai is the quintessential tiki drink in my opinion. No other drink can transport you to thoughts of white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters faster than the Mai Tai. Despite the ingredient list, it's quite easy to make. So slather on your sunscreen, put on your slippers (not flip-flops!) and hit the jump to learn how to make this magical drink.

The old fashioned is a cocktail that a lot of bartenders now days don't know how to make. It's either straight bourbon with some fruits thrown in it, or it's an abomination with a mess of muddled fruits at the bottom. I plan to change that.
