My gift for @holosexualpan in TsukkiYama Secret Santa exchange 2017!

I wanted to draw a/b/o verse at first because I saw you like it but it’s harder to depict in just one image so I decided to draw winged!AU for them. ^^

I hope you like it!

tsukkiyama flowershop au none of you asked for where yamaguchi owns a flowershop and tsukki slowly finds himself coming back to the shop, not because of the flowers.

author: me [kameoya]

There once was a bittersweet man and they called him "lemon boy",

"Come back soon!"

The soft music coming from a small radio on the counter fills the shop, but not enough to cancel out the bustling town.

Tadashi counts the tulips he has on display, humming softly to the tune of the song. He makes his way back behind the counter, patting his feline friend sleeping near the cash register as he passes by. He takes out his a small notebook from the pocket of his forest green apron and writes on his small log. His attention is quickly turned to a new customer he sees from his peripheral vision.

'Okay, wait, he's hot...'

There stood a very tall (he's at least 6 feet), well-dressed man, very short yet curly blonde hair, and honey colored eyes behind black-rimmed glasses. He did not have the most pleasant look on his face however. It looked like he was having a very bad day, and Tadashi was not going to make this young man's day even worse.

"Good afternoon, sir! How may I help you—"

"How do you say 'fuck you' in flowers?"

"What?"

He was growing in my garden and I pulled him out by his hair, like a weed,

The taller man was not the most pleasant customer but Tadashi was trying his best not to sound annoyed by him.

He talked in a very aggressive tone and seemed to have a permanent glare on his face, Tadashi did not like that, but he could never be mad at a customer. Never.

The stranger seemed to be having a bad day, so Tadashi could understand. Maybe something happened to him that really made him feel angry.

"C-Come again soon, sir..." Tadashi spoke softly as he watched the man's retreating back. He had his phone in hand, walking very quickly somewhere.

Tadashi looks at his cat and strokes its long ginger fur, "I hope he doesn't come back like that... I can never handle those kinds of customers..."

The cat only meows.

And like weeds do, he only came and grew back again,

Ah, of course, angry customer is back.

"W-Welcome, sir..!" Tadashi quickly puts the vases back in their place and goes behind the counter, smoothing out his apron, making sure creases weren't present.

The taller man only nods and begins walking towards the vases. Tadashi looks at him with curious eyes, maybe it's for the flowers he got yesterday, he thought but then again, he wanted to say 'fuck you' in flowers, why would he keep it for himself?

Tadashi is brought back to reality with a low cough coming from in front of him. He shakes his head and looks at the man in front of him.

"I'll just take this succulent."

He didn't look angry today, but he still had a very mean look on his face. To many, that may seem intimidating, but to Tadashi, it made the tall man look very...

attractive.

So I figured this time I might as well leave him be,

Lemon boy and me, we started to get along together,

That tall angry customer soon made frequent visits to Tadashi's flowershop. He came almost everyday at 3 in the afternoon.

Tadashi found himself looking at the clock every now and then, and looking out at the entrance to see if he could find a mop of familiar blond hair in the bustling crowds.

I helped him plant his seeds and we mowed the lawn in bad weather,

The regular bought a succulent whenever he came to the shop, and if he isn't buying anything, he's asking Tadashi for tips on taking care of plants.

The shopkeeper soon finds out the name of this not-so-stranger. Tsukishima Kei. Like the moon.

They interact more and more. Not just about plants, but about work, and friends, and things they liked.

Tadashi finds himself looking forward to meeting Tsukishima at 3 in the afternoon. He tidied up himself, fixing his apron, even changing it if it looked dirty, and brushing his hair with his fingers before the tall man arrived at the shop.

At the mere thought of Tsukishima, Tadashi is already smiling, his heart beating loudly against his chest, ready to burst when given the chance.

The shorter boy sees a familiar figure in his peripheral view and beams. He faces the regular and waves, "Tsukki, welcome back! What're you looking for today?"

"Tsukki?"

"Ah, s-sorry, I shouldn't have called you that."

Tsukishima only shrugs. Tadashi smiles even wider.

It's actually pretty easy being nice to a bitter boy like him,

They both talk and talk, having interruptions in between as Tsukishima wasn't the only customer Tadashi had, for maybe an hour or so and only realize they talked for a while when Tsukishima points out the time in slight panic.

The blond excuses himself from the flowershop but Tadashi grabs his wrist before he could get any further from his reach. Tsukishima raises an eyebrow in confusion and Tadashi panics, getting flustered every second.

"Well, um, you know, we've been talking a lot and I- well, you know, I think—"

Tsukishima stops him as he offers Tadashi a small note. Tadashi looks up at him in confusion, and Tsukishima nods in response, "My number." He says before excusing himself once more and disappearing from Tadashi's range of sight.

Tadashi stands there, dumbfounded. He finally got the attractive man's (who is also his crush, and maybe even the love of his life) phone number, without having to directly ask for it.

Did Tsukishima predict it happening?

Did he notice the way Tadashi stared at him a lot when they didn't talk?

Suddenly, Tadashi's legs turn to jelly.

His feline companion is amused.

So I got myself

a citrus friend.

uh, ye

Chapters: 6/10 Fandom: Haikyuu!! Summary:

“You two do have one shared braincell,” Yamaguchi remarked, winning offended looks from both of them and a loud laugh from Yachi. “Okay, he’s perfect for you, I’m rooting for you,” Kageyama said, and all of them laughed except for Yamaguchi, who was still trying to hide his face in his hands.
