An EBI Special Agent

It’s been a few months since the last time I posted.

Things have been alright for us. Nothing big has happened. Visited Flax Seed’s family during Heathswarming. They like to joke about having a special pan-religious holiday called Candlenights. They’re a very funny bunch.

Oh! And we saw the new Star Wars movie! That was amazing! It was truly worthy of being a Star Wars sequel. So many interesting ideas, I can’t wait for the next one.

Zach, this year’s Hearts and Hooves Day is supposed to be special. Do you know why?

No, not just because we’re going out on a date. Do you remember the other reason?

I’ll give you a hint: Bill Murray.

That’s right, Zach. According to Ghostbusters 2, the world ends on Valentines Day, 2016. We’re going to watch some Ghostbusters movies. Let’s hope no ghosts bother us. And let’s also hope it’s not true. I’m still looking forward to the new Ghostbusters movie coming out in July.

Celebrating Thanksgiving with Flax Seed’s family. Three grown sisters, their husbands, and one baby. It’s my first time meeting them all. They’re a little nerdy, and a little bit hipster-y, but they’re a nice bunch! Finally I’ve found some people who’s watched some of the weirder movies I love. Though their love is admittedly a little less sincere than mine.

It’s been nice so far. They’re playing the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 annual stream right now (Over here) and dinner’s almost ready. They’re surprisingly insistent that we eat at 5, since as I understand it, most families start their dinner earlier.

Zach, do you remember the Thanksgivings we had when we were a colt?

Our aunt and uncle would occasionally bring us to these high society dinners. They weren’t a lot of fun, but the food was good. The other children there tended to be a bit snobbish. Though there a were a few nice ones. One in particular was very nice, but his brother was awful. He was a very good friend when I got the chance to meet him, though.

It’s a shame what happened to him when he grew up. Killed along with his parents by the brother. Apparently he was tired of waiting for his inheritance. That and he just liked killing. Wasn’t his first murder, either. Was secretly working his way up an organized crime syndicate. Probably my most personal case when working with the Manehattan PD.

I should tell that to Flax Seed’s family! That was a great story!

We made it Zach, we really made it.

The Future.

It’s not a  stylish as I imagined it would be, and there aren’t any hoverboards but it’s still the future.

What a wonderful time to be alive.

Now to go to bed. If anypony thinks I’m going to be dressed weird in the morning, hopefully they’ll figure out why.

With Nightmare Night and The Day Marty McFly Actually Went To The Future both coming up, I’ve decided to come up with a special costume for me and Flax Seed to wear for our first Nightmare Night together: Doc Brown and Marty McFly. Also, I’m probably going to have to host an EBI Halloween party, which will be very fun and possibly a bit difficult.

I’m sure everyone had a good dream the other night! It made me want to start a personal dream journal.

Congratulations to local mules Cranky and Matilda on their marriage. May you both live happily ever after!

In other local news, congratulations to the Elements of Harmony for defeating a bugbear that attacked. May we not get attacked again anytime soon!

Come to think of it, I haven’t been to the Grand Galloping Gala in years. Maybe next year...I’m sure the elite could appreciate tales of my adventures.

On a side note, I think I've settled on a nice cottage.

I wish I could still celebrate Mother’s Day. She was a wonderful mare. I remember she would want to feed me a lot. She thought I needed the food to fuel my brain.

Zach, do you remember what day it is?

That’s right, Zach. April 25th. The perfect date. Not too hot and not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.

Has anyone had any interesting dreams lately? Recently I had one where I was being chased by an enormous dog. I escaped by getting into and driving a car. A car! Crazy, right?

By the by, in honor of April 20th, Ponyville Public Middle School is hosting an anti-drug fair at 7 PM tonight. Ponies (and non-ponies) of all ages are encouraged to come and have fun and learn about the dangers of narcotics and how to resist them. There will be games, a raffle, educational talks and a reading of “Latawnya, the Naughty Horse, Learns to Say ‘No’ to Drugs.”

Because of the construction of the field office, I need to make a permanent residence here for the sake of convenience. Haven’t quite decided on a home though. I want something decently sized, so I can finally have a dedicated movie room instead of an outcropping in my living room.

Speaking of which, my movie collection finally arrived from my apartment in Manehattan. I can barely move around in the hotel room with all these DVDs, VHS tapes, film reels, betamaxes, and laserdiscs.

Sometimes I wish I was more comfortable showing ponies my cutie mark.

But it’s a little confusing and I’m not fond of telling the whole story.

Regardless, I hope all of you out there take time to enjoy your own unique talents! I know I do.

It looks like my partner got his way onto my tumblr. Funny thing, that.

Oh by the way, with the field office finally finished, I’m back to just monitoring Ponyville. This time, though, I have some help.
