Huh.

Just had the strangest feeling. Like somewhere, somehow, two really well-known monsters were beating the snot out of each other or something. Like it was a very important, so-called "clash of the titans" or something. Perhaps such a battle changed the course of history in regards to the connection between mankind and monsters.

Ah, well. Doesn't concern me.

Just checking in from doing, uh...Giant Monster Things™. Oh, yeah. I've gone on many adventures of my own. Fought other monsters, destroyed alien spaceships. Uhhh...something about being an allegory for some contemporary topic. You know how it is.

Aside from Ty, i haven't been hearing much from anyone of the other guys. Maybe the two of us are the only ones left on the island? That would be something. Scary, even. It's like a ghost town. Except not a town and actually an island. You know what I mean.

Hope what few of you still keep tabs on monsters like me are holding out alright. Might try to pop in a bit more. I dunno. Being a monster now isn't what it was....what, six? Seven years ago? Crazy.

Never heard of him, but it does raise the question of how many kings are out here. Like, are they really royalty? You humans come up with such weird names for us.

I’ve seen the Big Guy around before. He’s another person I’ve never really interacted with but I respect him. He’s the kind of guy who doesn’t talk much, but when he does you know it’s gonna be something important. Plus he’s, like, really old. Gotta respect your elders.

Mothra…Every now and then I’ve seen her hanging around the Big Guy. To be honest, I don’t get why a lot of you little guys worship her like a deity. I mean, no offense or anything, of course. I’ve never personally seen her do anything “godly”. Unless you count being a worm sometimes godly.

Rodan? Is that what you call that thing? Never met ‘em, but I’ve ran into some of his family before I think. It was years ago. They really loved taking kills from me before I could even chow down. I just always figured they were too cowardly to pick fights of their own so they just take what they could get.

Kong? I’ve only heard others speak of him. Never met the guy myself. I don’t even know what he looks like. My guess is some sorta living volcano.

He’s sorta lucky, I mean, he gets a whole island to himself and really doesn’t have to bother with anything on the outside. You humans seem to really respect ‘em for whatever reason, so I’m sure he’s a nice guy.

Well.

It’s, uh.

It’s been a while, huh?

I’ve been kinda busy the past...however long it’s been. Tymantis and I have been dealing with some stuff. Mostly the kind of stuff you’d expect large things like us to deal with - Other monsters, some robots....I think aliens were involved somewhere along the line.

And just a few weeks ago something or other was causing a ruckus and telling us monsters to do stuff like destroy human cities and whatnot. I don’t know why me or Tymanits listened to the thing, whatever it was. Kinda like some weird auto-pilot thing.

And then it just stopped as quickly as it started. Really crazy shit. The other monsters I’ve been seeing have been pretty restless ever since. Almost like they know something is going to be happening relatively soon. I’m sure there are others who have a better idea of what’s going on, and good for them. I’m gonna try and stay outta that stuff.

So I guess we’re back? Or maybe just me. I don’t know if Tymantis really wants to try out the whole “speaking with the humans” thing again.

this blog’s lack of activity is because, in the blog’s canon, gimontig signed a deal with a movie company to make a cinematic universe of his life

there are currently 23 movies in the works, all being written by chimpanzees on typewriters.

the first movie is set to release this summer, starring dwayne “the rock” johnson as gimontig himself
