Yomei kareshi - tsumugidasu kisetsu -
Remember this series? (If you need to refresh your memory, click the link above!) Well, it looks like they’re back to make you weep with volumes 5 and 6!
Volume 5 features Ryou (on the left), who has been your lover since your university days. Currently you are in a long-distance relationship with him. After graduating from university, he went to the city to work while you stayed behind and since then he hasn’t returned, but both of you talk to each other a few times a week over the phone. He actually contemplates quitting his job and returning to his hometown, but because of his my-pace philosophy he sets vague goals - “since I’m already here, I should accomplish something before going back!” - and so his busy days continue. He is Tadashi’s junior/kouhai. Although he notices Tadashi’s kindness when the latter teaches him his work meticulously, he isn’t good with Tadashi’s workaholic nature but he definitely does not dislike him.
Volume 6 features Tadashi (right) who is Ryo’s senior/senpai at work and your lover with whom you started going out a few years ago. He is serious about his work, and has a stoic personality. He takes good care of his kouhais, he is well-trusted by his superiors - he has a strong sense of responsibility. Because he has so many things to do, even on days that he set aside to spend with you he has hardly enough time to wind down and relax properly. Although he is thankful that you are used to the fact that he often ends up breaking his promise to you to spend time with you and so you let him go to work, he is also apologetic about it. While people might think he appears cold-blooded (due to the fact that he wears a suit and glasses and overall he looks uptight) he’s actually nice to anyone. He is also obedient enough to immediately take off his glasses for you when you tell him that you like him better without his glasses.
