reblog if the first musical you ever listened to was not hamilton
It was The Sound Of Music, but I don’t feel like people who listened to Hamilton should be shamed or anything.
Hamilton brought a whole new generation of people into theatre and Broadway, which is amazing. All of these shows that are getting big wouldn’t be so large without Hamilton and many of them would probably close even earlier. Think about all the Hamilton fans that didn’t even know about Broadway shows before.
