Elle Peril is a role, something I do, but not really something I am. She is a shield and a disguise, an excuse and a reason, a fiction giving me the freedom to approach the truth of myself. Models or not all, aliases or not, we all play the same make believe game, donning different masks for different occasions. You can lose track of yourself that way...

offer her cynic kisses, pebbles of flint, expect
not a word from her lips, just that stare like a dark hint
dreams, they feel like memories
keep your reckless gaze skybound, keep your palms swelling against my sigh, keep your thighs tremoring like traincars, keep learning new ways to make me cry.

Men are born free into lives of quiet obedience but inside your chest beats a rebel heart. You have been living a life of contradictions. The border is collapsing between fact and fiction. You can burn the evidence in the mirror but you can no longer deny what is coming. Are you ready to wake up yet?

make art. make mischief. make love. make believe. make stories out of life and make life out of dreams. i was made for you, so will you make something for me?

beauty, you're a trick of the mind, an illusion striking men blind.

Apologies for interrupting your tranquil despair, but we've been living scripted lives, playing people who aren't there.
