According to the current situation that our community is losing a space to be free in their creativity to write and create what we all love I came up with an idea how it could be possible that we can continue and do what we love.

Here is the thing. I love our Sims-Community so much that I thought it would be truly sad to lose all those wonderful CC-Creators, CC-Rebloggers  Storytellers etc. I gained new friends and met wonderful people it would be a shame to lose you guys.

I wrote already a concept of how I picture this to be - similar to a site we all know =D. It will contain a bunch of sims-related content and I think this would be insanely cool to have something like this.

I will also set up a patreon page within the next few days, for those who are willing to support this idea financially. Make sure to follow on Twitter “simblrs” for further updates!

I did set up also a Discord called “simblrs” this will be the space where all the simmers can join who want and can contribute to making this project happen. You will need to tell me how you can imagine to contribute and be a part of this new “Simblrs Community” and you will be invited.

This blog did not and will not send requests for bitcoin donations.

There seems to be a virus or some sort of malware going around causing blogs to “send out” chat messages to blogs that they follow asking for help with the purchase of certain items through donations of seemingly small amounts using bitcoin and adds a link to the message.

The message goes as following (at least the first message I got went like this): “Hi there buddy. I need help, I’m trying to buy a laptop and I can’t afford it. I’m about 0.36$ short, and I’d really appreciate if you could help me and transfer some money to me via bitcoin using this *link*.”

The small details in the message seems to have a few variations with the greeting, amount and purchased item showing up in different variations from formal to friendly, from 0.016 to 2$ and from a phone case to a laptop among others.

The blogs that are affected send out the messages to blogs that they follow for a long time mostly, so you are most likely to receive the message from a long time, active follower whose name you might recognize or a mutual etc. The blogs that are affected are not spam bots but actual active followers who follow the recipient for months or years and most likely the blogger who “sent” the message is unaware of the message being sent.

DO NOT OPEN THE LINK.

Opening up the link will cause the virus to spread even more and infect your computer/mobile with any sort of malware.

If you have received a message of that sort from this blog please know that it was not sent by me or within my control and ignore/delete the message without clicking the link.

Please Help Me

So I really didn’t want to do this and I’ve been putting this off for months, but this constant harassment is really fucking with my mental health and I honestly just want it to stop. So back in August I had to leave my job because my depression and anxiety began to worsen again. Since then I’ve had trouble getting employment and have been struggling to get back on my feet. During that time all my bills have gone delinquent and now I’m close to 1000 dollars of payments due now or my credit and finances go down the drain. It also doesn’t help that my bank account is overdrawn by 217 dollars. This doesn’t help me in the slightest because I’m trying to move out of my parents home and my credit has gotten bad due to my accounts closing and such. I did finally manage to find employment but unfortunately I don’t start working/earning money until after my payments are due and even so this new job just won’t cover the expenses. I know credit card debt isn’t a good excuse to ask for money since I got myself in this situation but its really stressing me out and causing my anxiety to worsen and I find myself getting panic attacks every time I get a phone call every 30 minutes. I just want it to stop. I’d really appreciate any help you’ll provide. I cant offer much but my thanks if you decide to donate, but it would really help me a lot. Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won. 

That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.

The new head of the FCC wants to undo the net neutrality protections you fought so hard for.

His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.

Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.

You know the drill. Here’s what to do:

The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.

You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:
