I was hoping to post His Constant Chapter 4 yesterday for the fifth anniversary of the 'I Love You' scene, but I didn't finish it.

But would y'all like a preview?

“Sherlock! Wake up, Sherlock!”
Somebody was shaking him awake. He opened his eyes and beheld the face of the woman he loved. “Molly?”
“Yeah, it’s me. Nightmare?” At his nod, she sat down on her side of the bed. “Must have been horrible. You were thrashing about and calling out my name and your brother’s when I came in. Did we die in your nightmare?” She kept her hands on her lap, but he could see her fingers trembling.
He flashed back to the terrible events in his dream. So, sitting up, he reached for her and enveloped her in his arms. His heart ached at her sudden stiffness, but the relief that she was here and he was holding her offset that pain. “You’re safe now,” he muttered. He pulled back, just enough to kiss her on her cheeks, her nose, her forehead, and her lips. “You’re safe now,” he repeated, flashing her a small smile.
With her brows furrowed, she pulled back and gently pulled his arms off her. But her eyes softened a little bit and she squeezed his hand. “Are you all right?” Her fingers lingered on his before she released his hand.
He dragged his hands down his face before nodding. “Y-yeah, yeah, I’m fine. Just a little recurring nightmare since…” He drifted off and took a deep breath. “I can’t believe you’re here.”
“Were you expecting anybody else?” Her gentle voice and teasing tone made him chuckle. “You’re in my bedroom after all.”

This is probably not the final version of this section!

Anyhoo, here's the link to Chapter 1, if you'd like to catch up or if you'd like to reread the first three chapters:

I can't promise when Chapter 4 will be posted, but I promise I'm working on it!

I just realized that it’s been 10 years since I became a BBC Sherlock fan, a member of the Cumbercollective, and a Sherlolly shipper. Damn.

(It was actually last week, but I was focused on getting my booster shot. So I didn’t remember until now.)

It felt like only yesterday when I finished Series 1 on Netflix just in time for the midseason premiere of TWD S2 (if I remember correctly). And I was so relieved then to find out that BBC Canada was airing ASiB in a couple of weeks.

Now, while I have the DVDs/Blu-Ray, I have to stream the show on CBC Gem or on Prime Video if I don’t want to get up. And CBC Gem won’t even let me watch Series 4 without being a premium subscriber or something!

Also, BBC Canada is gone now. It’s been replaced by BBC First, which airs a bunch of British shows including Sherlock. I don’t think it’s worthwhile to subscribe to it if I only like one show though.

But, yeah. I can’t believe I’ve been in these fandoms for 10 years!

Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker really deserved more recognition for their work in AOS seasons 4-7, specifically in 5x14.

Molly: *Flirts with Sherlock for the millionth time*
Sherlock: *Actually flirts back*

Sherlock:
Sherlock: You’re not gonna say anything?
Molly, panicking: I don’t know… I didn’t think I’d get this far.
