remember when you were a kid and whenever your parents came into the room while you were doing something for pleasure like looking at something on the computer or watching tv and you’d immediately close the thing like you’d just been caught watching porn when you were actually doing nothing wrong this post was made by strict parents with no boundaries gang

my dad: walks into the room while i’m playing club penguin the family computer

Bed sharing is so intimate and blessed… dozing off and waking up to the sound of their breathing… feeling them roll over in their sleep to wrap an arm around you… hearing the little noises they’re making in their dreams…..

Bartender: thanks for stopping that bar fight, spiderman. Can I get you a drink? It’s on the house
Peter: thank you, but I can’t
Bartender: why not
Peter:
Bartender:
Peter, trying not to give his age away: I’m pregnant
Bartender, shook: oh, congratulations, boy or girl?
Peter, now in full-on panic mode: it’s an uh, spider

one of my fav scenes in into the spider verse is the one where miles just bonks a dude in the face with a bagel and knocks him over like -

fucking superb you funky little spider boy

And instead of “bonk!” or “thud!” it just goes “bagel!”

What is even the point of intentionally messing up someone’s order? Like, for instance, someone orders a skinny latte and you give them a regular, they order gluten-free bread and you give them wheat, etc. Why? Think about it:

Best case scenario: Nothing happens. If a girl who looks thin already thinks she got a soy but it’s whole milk, she’s not going to gain any weight because one latte won’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. If they just wanted gluten free because they want to try gluten free stuff, but got gluten exactly once, they will never notice. What’s the fun in that? Some dumb, twisted satisfaction at the fact that you lied to someone who trusted you?

Worst case scenario: They have a medical condition that is triggered by certain ingredients, and because your dumb ass gave it to them anyway, they’re going to react to that ingredient horribly. Maybe the skinny girl who ordered sugar free is a type 1 diabetic. Maybe the guy who asked for gluten free has celiac. Maybe they have a life-threatening allergic reaction and you kill someone, all because you get off on intentionally deceiving customers who put their trust in you.

Either way, you’re an asshole.

Preach that shit

DON’T GIVE US WHAT WE ASK YOU TO KEEP OUT

I spent THREE HOURS in the hospital because I have a food allergy and there was an ACCIDENTAL cross contamination. This is honestly best case scenario with medical conditions like this. People can be sent into comas or die if they have dietary needs due to medical conditions.

So please don’t be an asshole because the skinny girl ordered sugar free or the guy asked for gluten free. We don’t want to explain everything if we can avoid it.

SERIOUSLY. DO NOT PLAY WITH PEOPLES’ LIVES.

Think it’s funny to mock someone you think is health-conscious? (which like, don’t mock that, don’t betray what someone puts in their body). That’s gross.

And as people have already said. You could fucking hospitalize or kill someone.

today i bought a chocolate bar just because i really liked the graphic design

but the bar itself is also really cool looking? i found a diagram that says exactly how big each piece is

the wikipedia article reads like an ad but i gotta say, this part in particular is pretty fun

#why is the bar designed like that #it doesnt make it easier to eat #it doesnt make it easy to track portion size??? #this makes no sense #the slavery free thing is just a cherry on top of this weird cake

it is, apparently, intended as a metaphor for the inequality of distribution of profit in the chocolate industry

Tony’s Chocolonely’s entire thing is that they’re fighting for a slavery free chocolate industry, you guys should check them out!

Translated another excerpt from the Boku No Hero Academia Vol. 3 Light Novel from Chapter 2 “Super Dramatic Remodeling” with Kirishima helping Bakugou move into the new dorms. Enjoy~

On that day, on the fourth floor of the Heights Alliance building, Kirishima was helping Bakugou unpack his things in the dormitory. Since they lived right next to each other, one of Bakugou’s boxes got mixed up with Kirishima’s, and because of that he was helping the other out.

Kirishima: Bakugou! What’s this rod here? Some sort of weapon?

Bakugou: It’s a stick that you use when you mountain climb and…hey what the hell. How long do you plan to stay in my room? Go back to your own room and clean it up!

Bakugou scrunched his eyebrows and glared at him, but Kirishima smiled widely.

Kirishima: Now now, unpacking is way faster with two people instead of one. So come and help me out in my room after this.

Bakugou: As if! It’s definitely faster alone.

Even as he kept nagging on, Bakugou made no effort in trying to kick him out.

The savior and the one who was saved. A new wind blows into these new dorms to dissipate even the slightest remnants of any unfamiliarity between the two.
