we all talk about the intimacy of eye contact but do you ever think about the intimacy of looking at someone’s eyes while they’re looking at something else—either because they’re distracted or they’re deliberately allowing you to have this moment to yourself or they know that it’ll be too much to look back at you directly—and if so does it ever just make you go full crazy
maybe you didn’t have a very productive day today. maybe you didn’t change out of your pajamas. maybe you didn’t even get out of your bed. even if the most exercise you did all day was plugging your phone in, your day was not a waste. and more importantly than that, you are not a waste.
you’re not a waste of space, of breath, of life, or of time.
you are a human, a being, an entity worthy of love, compassion, and life.
you are a lot of things, but you are certainly not a waste.
No offense but literally nothing and no one is and will ever be out of your league. Nothing is too good for you. Nobody has the right to make you feel like you are not enough or less than you are, you deserve the world.

it’s never too late!!!!!!! to text them back. to drink enough water today. to get into a skincare routine. to learn the piano or how to paint!! to learn winged eyeliner. to tell them how u feel. to start getting fitter. to get changed or brush your teeth or shower today. to read that book or watch that show everyone was talking about years ago. to turn an acquaintance into a friend. if u don’t start somewhere u won’t go anywhere at all.

It’s important that you keep your feelings and your self worth in different places because when feelings get hurt it shouldn’t change how you view yourself.

kinda cool to think how someone somewhere is having the best day of their life today. someone’s hearing “i love you” for the first time today. someone’s gonna meet the love of their life today. someone’s gonna get the job of their dreams today. it’s someone’s best day today. and guess what binch? tomorrow it could be ur best day so keep going

don’t push yourself too hard.
overworking yourself might get things done but the quality won’t be up to your standards if you work yourself ragged.
not getting enough sleep/water/food will only make you feel worse, so take care of yourself while you’re getting things done.
remember to take some deep breaths when things get overwhelming. don’t panic. breathe and think things through logically rather than anxiously.
don’t be afraid to ask for help.
push yourself just enough to make some progress.
plow through the things you know you have the energy for.
go out to social events you’re comfortable with and don’t feel like you have to stay the whole time just because you might miss something.
celebrate the little wins and successes. short term goals get you to long term goals.
balance out your life in a way that works for you.

Sometimes you fall off the wagon for months. Sometimes you tell yourself you’re gonna start fresh on Monday and by Wednesday you’ve already fallen back off. Sometimes you have to restart a 100 times and it’s frustrating. But it will be okay. You can do this. One day at a time
