Friendly reminder that everything about Roy’s womanizing personality is carefully crafted to make sure people underestimate him so that he appears less of a threat, which is half the reason the entire country bought that Mustang wasn’t behind the coup.
A slow hum easing it’s way from his throat as dragged his fingers across Roy’s skin. “Mm, you’ve got a very nice jaw.” Chuckling right after as his thumb ghosted across the soft lips of Roy’s, a new gentleness to the touch of his steady hands.
Roy’s eyebrows quirked upwards, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “That’s a new one,” he joked softly. But then again, he has never been involved with someone that had to use their hands as a way to see the world. Roy pursed his mouth ever so slightly, pressing a gentle kiss to the pad of his thumb. “Mm, anything else?”
He could only pray the the time would pass quickly, they were literally breathing in each other’s air which wasn’t something Maes wanted to think about. Clearly his plan of pressing his arms to either side of the closet wasn’t working too well and only ended up taking up more space. Maes brought his arms ahead of him, firmly planting them just behind Roy as he leaned as far back that the space would allow which was not nearly enough. His heart had started pounding right as they heard footsteps just outside in the corridor and now he wasn’t sure if it was from the sheer panic or being so tightly pressed against his best friend.
And then a brush.. A brush of areas that he would most definitely not want to touch and definitely not now. Registering an inward grumble from Maes with another swallow. “I told you not to.. move.” His voice had adopted a shaky quality, desperately keeping his eyes anywhere but Roy.
A shaky breath passed his lips, the air between them was growing hot an tense in more ways than one. The thoughts that were swarming around his mind were most definitely ones he should not be having about his male best friend lately. Then again, he had also been noticing how damn good his best friend looked in that uniform.. shaking his head to himself, his eyes shifted towards Maes. Clearing his throat quietly, he moved one arm around his friend’s waist and brought him closer rather than farther away, their bodies touching completely now. “Moving farther away only lessens the space we have in here, idiot.” He grumbled, their lower halves in constant contact now.
Bad time to get a boner there, he mentally cursed himself, wondering if Maes could feel that. Shit, who was he kidding?! Of course he could.
Roy had never felt so much rage in his life time. Sure he had been angry before, but nothing compared to this. The fire from his hands just kept going and Envy just kept screaming, but he couldn’t find it in himself to really care right now. It was like the world around him was blocked out, he couldn’t focus on anything but what he was concentrating on now, and that was burning Envy to a crisp, just like he did with Lust. And this time he really wasn’t showing any mercy, snapping his fingers one after another.
Envy was a tricky little bastard and would keep running away, only Roy wasn’t falling for his stupid tricks. Whipping around the hallway quickly, his fingers were poised and ready to snap when he was face to face with his best friend, but he knew better. “You idiot!” He screamed, his voice deep and rough. “Maes Hughes is dead, that’s a fact. Yet, you still take his image? You must be glutton for punishment!”
Maes nodded and lifted his hands, offering a smile to Roy as his hands ghosted up to Roy’s neck keeping them there for a moment to chuckle. “I had to ask.” It would definitely be strange if Maes just began touching Roy’s face. Sucking in a breath as his fingers glided up to the other’s jaw, cupping his cheeks and rolling his thumbs across the bone.
Roy found himself leaning into the touch, feeling his thumbs rub across each of his cheek bones. Nobody had ever touched him like this before, especially in such an intimate way. The way Maes was touching him right now felt different than anything else he had experienced, it took his breath completely away. “Do you like what you feel so far?” Roy asked gently, a hint of a smile ghosting on his lips.
"Close to you."
It was a terrible idea to begin with, but it was his fault for agreeing to it in the first place. Snooping around the superior officer’s quarters was the quickest way to receive a swift kick from the academy and yet regardless of the stakes, Maes had agreed. Things were going fine until the meeting that was scheduled for all the officers was cancelled and they all returned right in the middle of their search through a desk. To which they hurried to lodged themselves within a nearby closet that had no space for movement. Sadly it was too late that they realized this and they were left pressed tightly against each other in the dark and cramped space.
“Try not to move, we’ll just have to wait it out.” Swallowing thickly as he tore his gaze from the other to the closet door.
This really wasn’t what Roy had in mind when he brought up snooping around the superior officer’s quarters. But how the hell was he supposed to know that their meetings were going to be cancelled, so they would be returning to their spot in the office? Letting out a low sigh his gaze shifted from Maes to where their bodies met. If Roy moved even the slightest bit, his junk would rub right against Maes. His warm breath was ghosting across his best friend’s cheek, almost positive Maes could probably feel his heart beating rapidly, that’s how close they were.
Before Roy could even stop himself, he shifted slightly to try and get more comfortable, until he let out a weird, strangled noise from the back of his throat as their lower halves rubbed up against each other, trying to hide the dark hue on his cheeks.

Roy jumped up from his bed, his heart racing in his chest as he heard pounding on his window. It wasn’t until he heard some whispering afterwords that he realized who it was, a not amused look on his face. “What the hell are you doing here?” He grumbled, opening the window and closing it once he was inside.
