something about reading the books when i was younger then percy and he felt like a cool bigger kid to me but now im watching the tv show and hes just a tiny 12 yo... weve come full circle

The best part of the percy jackson books is that from percy's perspective hes just an easygoing funny cool guy who seems pretty harmless but the moment you see him from someone elses pov hes terrifying. Just a crazy good fighter, a force of nature killing machine, literally gets mistaken for a god in disguise. But he doesnt see that side of himself at all because hes too busy arguing with authority figures and respecting women. I love him

They don't know they're about to have the most unmatched epic slow burn love story and become the blueprint of soulmates

On one hand, the Kane Chronicles would make a great show.

On the other hand, I think it would reach peak potential as a podcast where you can hear Carter and Sadie fighting over one high-quality mic that they could easily share before Zia or Bast walks in and tells them to get their act together.

There will be guest segments with gods and students. There will be goofy side track moments that make no sense. Maybe some terrible editing of noise. Sadie has a soundboard. Set is there once, or is that Amos? Who knows.

i think we need to understand the gravity of how quickly Percy blames himself and his disabilities for the way his world is. how he's been made to believe over years and years that he's weird, that there's something wrong with him. Percy saying he should've been paying attention. Percy saying there's something wrong with his brain. Percy calling himself broken.. he's just a kid man

ever since 2019 when the pjo show was rumored, people have been saying “the second i hear the percy actor say ‘look, i didn’t want to be a half blood’ i’m going to lose my mind”. that moment is now kids and i am doing exactly that
