“Seungcheol, can you please come and help me?” you asked your boyfriend. He was in the living room, typing something on the laptop. 

“What is it, darling?” he came behind you and put his arms around your waist and his chin on your shoulder. 

“Can you please grab that bowl over there for me?” you pointed at the bowl that was sitting on the top shelve. It was too high for you to reach it. 

Seungcheol let go of you and took the bowl. He handed it to you before kissing you cheek. “Here you go, baby.” 

You thanked him and went back to your cooking. Your friend talked to you about a recipe she did, so you wanted to try it.  You kept moving around the kitchen, searching for the ingredients and utensils needed. Seungcheol decided to take a little break from his work. He was now sitting behind you, watching you cook. 

He loved following you with his eyes. You could say he was in a trance every time he looked at you. 

Seungcheol got up and went next to you. “Can I help you cook?” he asked you. He looked at you with his puppy eyes, making you give up.

“Ok, you can. But be careful.” He nodded cutely, making you let out a giggle. You told him the tasks he needed to do. Seungcheol took the knife and started cutting the tomatoes. From the corner of his eyes, he kept looking at you. You were in the middle of cutting the cucumbers and the potatoes. 

“You know, I would love to do this every day,” your told him, still cutting your legumes. 

“What? Cut cucumbers and potatoes?” Seungcheol asked you and giggled to himself.

“Haha, that was so funny. No dummy, I mean us two, cooking together, spending more time in each other’s company,” you said and finally looked at him. 

He put the knife down and came closer to you. He took your face in his hands and kissed your nose. “I know it’s hard, and you are having a hard time too, but I promise things will get better.” He kissed you nose one more time. 

You smiled at him “I believe you. Now let’s go back to our cooking. It’s getting pretty late,” you told him and went back to your cutting. 

After a good hour, you finally finished. You were scared to try it since you didn’t know if it will be good or not. 

“I am sure it will be amazing. Let’s try it together.” Seungcheol was next to you.

The two of you took a bite from your plate. Seungcheol looked at you before smirking “I told you it will be good. I made it after all.” 

You gave him and annoyed look, before taking one of the half cut tomato and throwing it in his direction. The legume hit his face, making him gasp. 

“This is how you want to play? Fine.” These were the last words that left his mouth before a food fight erupted between you two.
