⁽ᵛ⋅ ʰᵃᶰᵈ ᵒᶠ ᵐʸᵗʰᵃᶫ⁾: since her birth arabela had been promised to mythal. a bright and quick-witted elf, she quickly rose through the ranks to become one of her most trusted hands. This verse is set in Ancient Arlathan. 

⁽ᵛ⋅ ᵉʸᵉˢ ᵒᶠ ˢᵒʳʳᵒʷ⁾: though she is naught but a well, her spirit is strong and reaches towards those who might communicate with her. prove your worthiness, show her that your mind is worth more than your mettle; and perhaps she’ll share with you vast knowledge forgotten to the ages.

⁽ᵛ⋅ ᶠʳᵒᵐ ˢᵒʳʳᵒʷ ᵇᶫᵒᵒᵐˢ ᶰᵉʷ ᶫᶦᶠᵉ⁾: after the Well is drained && Arabela fends off Corypheus; she wishes to explore this new world. It is obvious the elves no longer reign over their own temples and from the Well steps a corporeal being intent on discovering why the World cries so.

⁽ᵛ⋅ ˢᵒʳʳᵒʷ ᵗᵘʳᶰᵉᵈ ᵐᵉᵗᵗᶫᵉ⁾ (inquisition verse) it appears knowledge is no longer enough. that the time to take up arms has come if the world to heal from the wounds it has suffered.

They cried, pleaded, begged, reached out for her. But there was only so much that she could do before the wave of darkness would engulf the tiny town. Lothering they called it. And it would stand proud despite the corruption that would drain it entirely, as the first monument that humans were there, and they fought until their last breath. But she could not save them all. All this the Well could sense from her stance, delving deep into the darkest recesses of her mind had been easier said than done. ❝For you fear they blame you; when truly: you were their salvation. ❞

You know nothing Dread Wolf, yet proclaim to know all. Arabela stared at the elf silently. For what had once been whispers, scratching gently within the confines of her mind, had become screams. They cried and pleaded for release, for the memories of Arlathan, of what they had lost.. was too great. And the reason stood before her. ❝As you carry the burden of our lost people, Dread Wolf? ❞ the question held no accusation, merely was laced with a sorrow years beyond even her knowledge. How could she hold such memories close, treat them like she did the rest and allow them to rot her from the inside out?
