We’re hosting an event! I’m sorta excited because I haven’t seen anything really like it yet, but it’s an auction selling contracts. The contracts belong to skilled professionals. It’s underworld themed, but we’re flexible in allowing for some wiggle room with some not-too-shady professions. I think medical RPers might have some good luck here, seems everyone knows someone who could use some degree of medical help in-game, particularly those who might be comfortable treating wounds without asking too many questions. All you need is a skill people would pay money for- analogous to a date auction, but instead of buying a date, you could buy the services of a contract killer or seasoned tracker.

The second half of the auction is selling GM’s under the pretext of them being “tactical consultants.” If you like GMing and want to give it a shot, give it a go. A lot of people also have really great ideas, but either don’t know how to or don’t want to GM them, and this could be a good way for them to enjoy the story they want to as a player, and not as a GM themselves. I think this could be particularly fun for people who want to advance their personal plot through a GM’d event but just aren’t comfortable GMing.

Anyway, the auction is for actual gil, and 70% will go to the person whose contract was purchased.

My art teacher in grade 8 had ADHD and was Bipolar on top of that and on the first day of class the first thing he told us was that sometimes he would yell at us without really meaning to. And he told us that if it ever happened to call him out because his mental illness didn’t give him the excuse to treat us like shit.

Mental health issues (as well as some other disabilities) EXPLAIN your behavior, but it doesn’t EXCUSE your behavior.
