"I understand I’m adding too much to my plate with caring for too many people at the moment but your well-being is still a concern whether you like it or not," Makoto replied weakly due to the stress it could put him under but cared for everyone he knew and loves regardless and added,"Rin, I would say something like ‘try to find a new swim dream or maybe ‘look for a different goal in swimming’ if that seems alright." 

Makoto was confusing. Rin had always from the time they were young thought that. Mostly because he was smart, and yet sometimes made the dumbest choices. This was one of them. Makoto clearly realized he was putting himself under to much stress by taking care of everyone and yet he insisted on caring for Rin as well. The one person who had done nothing but try and push the orca away since they meet again.

Hearing the next bit though Rin gave Makoto a long look over. Did he really think that was possible. “I don’t have what it takes Makoto.” It was simple he was done. He didn’t have the talent to become an Olympic swimmer, but he had devoted to much of his time to give it up. “Every time I get close … something like today happens.” 

"Rin...I'm sure you have what it takes towards achieving your dream," Makoto replied in an attempt to convince the other that he shouldn't give up so easily on trying to reaching his goal regardless of whether he had the talent or not and curious about what Rin was talking about though he knows he shouldn't intrude into personal matters but asked anyways,"What do you mean 'every time' you get close?' Might there something that could be a trigger for you?"

  "I know I know but I felt worried and wanted to check up on you," the brunette replied a little less anxious than before about the other’s well-being and breathed a small sigh of relief seeing as he could tell Rin was just extremely exhausted for the most part. 

He didn’t say anything when Makoto made comment about worrying about him. After all Rin couldn’t even promise there was nothing to worry about because he was tired. Of all of this. He wanted to give up, but even if he did, he had nothing to fall back on. Rin had literally devoted his entire life to this dream. He didn’t know what to do if it all crashed around him. “You got enough people to worry about Makoto without adding me to the list.” It was what he could offer. It was all he could truthfully offer to try and get Makoto to leave.

Chuckling for a little bit from seeing how red Rin had become after his pickup line response to the previous one the redhead had said to him, Makoto blushed till he was red as a tomato and stuttered out,”R-rin..Y-ou..W-wha? F-fine I g-got something to say in return,” and added replying with his counter pickup line,” I gain a muscle every time I’m turned on by you. Guess how many I have now? Too many to count.” 

Rin quickly turned around to hide his face from Makoto, he needed to calm his blush down and also trying not to think of the orca getting turned on because of that pick up line he just said. Nope, not thinking that at all. “I-idiot…” pause, “Your ass is so nice that it is a shame that you have to sit on it.”

Makoto quietly chuckled from Rin's reaction to his counter pick up line due to how red the other's face had became and wondered what the redhead could come back with and blushed redder than a tomato after hearing his response of a pick up line and replied stuttering,

"I-I-I...So..Y-you're s-suggesting I sit in your lap instead then? I w-wouldn't mind doing that for you if that's how you see my ass," chuckling a little before sending one more pickup line towards Rin,"roses are red, you're really cute. So let me take you to bed and put you on mute~."

"N-no, I didn’t come to laugh at you Rin..Rather I came by to see how you were," Makoto replied answering the other’s question with worry in his voice. 

Rin sighed as he turned around, leaning against the fence he had been looking through moments ago. The worry in Makoto’s voice was annoying, mainly because Rin knew it was sincere. “I’m a big boy Makoto, I don’t need checking up on like Haruka.” He said, he was attempting to be snide, but the comments just came out tired. 

"I know I know but I felt worried and wanted to check up on you," the brunette replied a little less anxious than before about the other's well-being and breathed a small sigh of relief seeing as he could tell Rin was just extremely exhausted for the most part. 

"Fine, you can swim but then afterwards you’re going to a warm bath because I don’t want you to get sicker than you already are now."

"Good enough for me." With all that, Haru suddenly unleashes himself in a flurry of clothes and jumped off the pool side, not caring for anything at all. Even his colds.

"I worry about you sometimes Haru..."

Makoto watched as the other strip down to his swim trunks and dive into the water  while worrying that it might worsen his cold illness more than it should already.

"You’re Makoto, right? I remember the teacher calling your name out  on the first day."

"Ah yes, I’m Makoto also I’m a little surprised you remember me  since the first day, and who might you be?"

"Oh, I’m Shiloh, our class rep. I’m kinda in the corner of the class, so I’m not surprised you don’t know me."

"Ahh yes, nice to meet you Shiloh. It's odd how we didn't run into each other before though."

Smiling at the reaction he caused to the others’ face with the cheesy pickup line, Makoto chuckled quietly before his face turned cherry red after hearing what Rin had to say for a cheesy line  in response to his and added not wanting to lose to the redhead,”I-I-Idiot, why did YOU have to go  and s-say that ? and thinking of another one of while  he was at it,”I’m afraid of the ocean because you haven’t washed up ashore to hug me yet.”

Rin felt his blush intensify to the point where it reached the tip of his ears and down his neck. “Y-you…” he scowled, how could Makoto say such things with that straight cute face?? Argh, he was so not going to lose this little competition they had going on, “If you stood in front of a mirror and help up 11 roses, you would see 12 of the most beautiful things in the world.”
