Have you fallen for a ship with 0 fics? Have you even thought about writing it but decided there was no point?
Launch the Ship is a multifandom challenge to write the first fic for a ship! It provides a friendly little community during what can often be a lonely voyage.
All you need to do is choose a ship with 0 fics, and complete a fic for it before the deadline, Oct 15. Everything else is optional—although the event info is hosted on Dreamwidth, you don’t even need a Dreamwidth account. So let’s set sail, shall we?

i literally never want a program to turn my smileys into one of their accursed emojis and yet they persist in their wretchedness
look i know the hello from the magic tavern fandom on here is like five people and a pile of rocks but the season three finale was so good?????? they're always a step above the normal eps but like. damn. I got caught up in the story, I was emotionally affected, it was great!!!! I know this podcast only has a plot for about 5 episodes in every 100 or so but when it has a plot, that plot is very good!
It was great. <3
I loved that everyone seemed to be having a blast. I really liked what they did with the Dark Lord's character, too—playing him at least a little straight/not comedic. By the little post-credits scene, I was just full of affection for the show.
(I remember seeing the news about the divorce several months back, and wondered if he might opt to keep it off the podcast altogether—which would be an entirely valid choice. The way he integrated his relationship with his family into this particular episode, though, was really poignant and well done.)
