気分転換。 後でもうちょいどうにかしたいです。 久々に劇場版まどマギの後編を見ながら描いてました。新編が好きです でも空間演出のイヌカレさんがもっと好きです

inchofsalt asked: Your Hwoarang/Jin was fun! May I request some Lee/Kazuya?

Again I’ve been out of this fandom so long it’s probably terribly OOC/based on silly ideas I have of these guys in my mind.  That said this was probably one of the first pairings I did fan stuff for, so… for nostalgia!!

The dim sum restaurant was over-the-top gaudy in a way that Kazuya found typical of American Chinese places.  That, in addition to the constant clink and clang of dishes and the loud, raised voices of both patrons and staff was giving him a headache.  He was sure that was why Lee had insisted on meeting here, and even more sure that was why he was late.

At last he spotted the distinctive silver hair rising above the sea of dark, and saw the arrogant sneer on that cold face.  And felt the twinge of something—anger, irritation, annoyance, yes, but something else too—under his breastbone.

"Lee Chaolan," he said, as the other man sat.  Two female bodyguards—both quite attractive—sat down beside Lee.  Kazuya’s lip curled.  He had no need of others to defend himself.  Pathetic that Lee would feel he did.  Pathetic and a demonstration of his weakness.

"Kazuya." Lee grinned.  "Brother."

One of the bodyguards rose to pour both of them tea.  Kazuya ignored her; his eyes were only for his adopted brother.  “Why am I here, Chaolan?”

Lee shrugged.  “Heard you were in the US for the holidays.  I just wanted to see if you’d even show up.”

Kazuya’s mouth twitched.  He felt his anger rising.  Lee leaned forward, threw a red envelope across the table.  His gaze didn’t quite rise up to meet Kazuya’s.

"So happy new year.  It’s good to see your face."

Kazuya opened his mouth to say something harsh, but closed it at Lee’s finishing sentiment.  Suspicion warred with other emotions.  Heihachi had played up the resentments between the two boys during their childhood, and even adulthood had never brought anything but rivalry between the men they’d become.  Business rivals, battleground rivals…

He leaned forward and picked up the red envelope, half expecting it to contain poison or some unpleasant, mocking missive.  But there was only money inside, a small, reasonable amount for a gift to a relative.

"I don’t…"

Lee laughed.  “Don’t even try.  Just enjoy yourself.  Eat something.  Drink some tea. Oh, and, next year?  Try not to lose to me.  In that Iron Fist tournament you’re going to host, brother.”

"I’m not…" Kazuya stopped, studied his brother.  Then he picked up his teacup and raised it to Lee.  "It’s impossible for me to lose to you. Brother."

"We’ll see about that," Lee answered, and then he turned to wave over an approaching cart.  Kazuya snorted; under his breath, softly, he said,

"Happy new year,"

and he thought he saw Lee smile.

Title: The First Birthday Series: Tekken Pairing: Jin/Hwoarang Length: Roughly 3000 words Summary: A fight leads to a few revelations. Notes: I've actually been sitting on this fic for a while, but I felt like the only time I could get away with it was today. Consider that your warning ;) ----…

Adorable, sweet HwoaJin that has both in character and feels right for the pairing. Relatively short piece, but is incredibly satisfying; if you enjoy Hwoarang and Jin being two very different people who nevertheless have a bond that's strong enough to survive the odd personality clash, then you'll love this.
