Still torn between giving Alonne an Elden Ring verse and trying to revive this blog, or bring over my main oc. (That inadvertently inheriting at lot of personality traits from Alonne) Aside from the personality similarities the only other thing they really have in common is they would both be from the Land of Reeds.

I know im still kind of attached to Alonne as hes the only canon character ive really ever stuck with. But I figure maybe its worth ‘polling the audience’ so to speak.

What are your guys’ thoughts? Would anyone like Alonne in particular to stick around or is it finally time for the Old Boy to rest along with the rest of Dark Souls 2?

Embodiement-of-sloth: I see what you're saying, but there is no real reason you can't have both, in my opinion. if you wanna do the other guy, why not just make another blog with him and keep alonne around, or turn yours into a multimuse blog?

I knew I forgot to mention something when I made that post but I couldnt put my finger on what.

Your point would usually be a great one. But going from my own experience having been on this site for like 6 or 7 years now.

Reviving this blog and adding a new one on top of the 2 I still run in other fandoms is just a bad idea for me personally. I have a hard time splitting my attention between multiple blogs and often end up neglecting some in favor of others.

And as for a multimuse I’ve only run one or two so far. But on both occasions one muse often ends up becoming the primary muse seeing a lot more interaction than others, leaving me to just feel like I should have just made them their own blog and dropped the other muses.

But the more I think about it maybe if its just the two of them that might not happen. And I guess if it does I wont feel nearly as bad as if it were more than one muses falling to the wayside...

// Ugh im so conflicted. I love Alonne so much (He is one of the few ‘canon’ characters ive been able to write for without contently feeling like im dropping the ball on his portrayal, though admittedly that probably lends itself to the fact there is so little on him that he may as well be an OC)

But ive also come to really enjoy writing this OC that sprouted off from Alonne but has now become quite a bit different.

//Still debating this as I play more elden ring. I love Alonne dearly, and the OC he kinda turned into when I left this blog and fandom for a while. But I know with how scatterbrained I am, trying to run both is probably a terrible idea…

// Hey so that elden ring is pretty damn good so far…

And ooooh it is working up muse something fierce. The only question is do I come back here and give Alonne an Elden Ring Verse. Or do I go with the OC hmmm.

“Ah yes Sunday...” The large swordsman chuckled to himself. “It had been so long I’d almost forgotten the theme it usually seems to take on. That hasn’t changed in the slightest it seems.”
