nothing has been more important to my being queer than when i went to my first pride parade, got seperated from my group, had a panic attack about it and was sitting on the side of the road holding a tiny genderfluid flag and freaking out. then this six foot five drag queen in four inch heels appeared from literally nowhere and sat down next to me. i, this scared-shitless trans bi kid at pride for the first time, very nervously told her she looked pretty and i told her my name and that i got lost and didn't feel like i should be at pride and she held my hand and said "oh, honey, everybody deserves to be here, especially you. pride is for everybody who's ever gotten lost, who's been scared of who they are or where they are. you think we never been scared before? pride's for you, honey, because you're scared. you don't have to be proud right now, but you're gonna be one day, honey, i'm sure of it."
i found my group soon after that and i never saw that queen again but to this day i am convinced i met an angel.
so yeah. pride is for you. pride is for all of us.
animated movies need to go back to hiring normal voice actors instead of celebrity cameos if only because it’s funny to show someone this
and say “yeah this is all one guy”
animated movies also need to go back to hiring voice actors because voice actors are voice actors and screen actors fucking aren’t

I'm gonna say it here too. Allow me to be crystal fucking clear.
- It is not cowardly to stay in the closet. Full stop. You do not owe anyone any part of yourself you aren't ready to share
- If you unable to come out because you fear for your safety or well-being or because you know it will cause you substantial discomfort, that is not a defect in you. It's a failure of the society in which you live and the community surrounding you.
- If you just don't want to share that part of yourself, that is valid and I support you

"We're telling the story of a bisexual character here, which means he is attracted to more than one gender, so we can't minimize the fact that he has been attracted to women and will continue to be attracted to women. Like, that's the whole point here. He is bisexual."

the humble "like" is oft mocked despite what it does for us. "like, three people" is a vastly different statement from "three people". "and i was like 'what the fuck'" is vastly different from "and i said 'what the fuck'". i love you "like" and anyone who says you make people sound stupid will be killed on sight
