And… update for 2023.
Not the kinda update that will be popular on here, but this is where I’m at right now. And I’m happy. I’m the lightest I’ve been in about 10 years, and I’m feeling *good*.
Everything is just a little easier when I’m under 400lbs. I will likely keep going for a while, maybe aim for 350 or even less.
I don’t know if I’ll keep going forever. Or if I’ll eventually get bored, or hungry, or desperate to get back to 400, or more. But I’m happy right now, and that’s all that should matter.
Listen.
It’s about the journey. No matter what your goals are, you are valid in this community. Period. For those who feel like they’re struggling or they aren’t seen- I see you.
Honestly? This shit is frustrating sometimes. Sometimes the weight doesn’t stick even after stuffing yourself senseless for days on end. Maybe you’re not able to eat like you want to because of financial reasons and feel like you’ll never have the body that you want to. Maybe you hit a plateau that just won’t break. Maybe something happened in life that is keeping you from indulging and gaining the way you want to.
But please- do not beat yourself up about it. Ever. Do not compare yourself to the gainers with all kinds of content and enormous gains. Don’t let that comparison steal from you the experience of your own journey. You WILL get there. The weight WILL stick. You WILL reach your goal. There may be ups and downs, it may take longer than you want or than it takes others, but it’s okay. You are human first and foremost- please give yourself the love and kindness you deserve. There is such a long story between these two pictures with incredible highs and unthinkable lows. Always take the time to nourish your heart and soul, and then feed your belly. No one can tell you how to gain, or tell you that you aren’t “gaining enough.” You are. I see you, and you are so fucking stunning. We’ve got this. ❤️
