He glanced to her when she whined, uncertain by what that meant, but for now Delsin let it slide. His focus was back on the suspected conduits, “Okay so now that we have some privacy,” The smoke still lingered around his arms, taking a step forward, “We’ll make this quick. Tell us you’re a conduit and you live,” A dark smile passed his face, getting closer to one of them, “Don’t, and my partner gets to shove poison down your throat,”
Of course she was excited. She followed him, crossing her arms as she stood my his side. "Del, how do we know if they're lying?" She whispered as quiet as possible, trying not to give them ideas. Unless he had some sort of magnificent way or had absorbed a truth-telling power, then chances were they wouldn't know. She raised her eyebrows, waiting for his opinion.
