Dean has changed a lot since I've received his first shell in July 2013 which was a Soom Dia back then.
Unboxing Granado Enoch in tan skin
It is a long time that we havenβt show Crocus new works. Today, letβs take a peek at his new sculpt! (Sorry, we can only show his lips! The eyes are not ready lol )
Crocus is now making a new Archangel: Raguel. This picture is his draft sculpt. He wants to make a Asian-look Raguel ;-)
π«WARNING! GORE!!π«γ So this is Dr. Mads Andernachβs brother Jerrik. Heβs an insane, bloodthirsty psychopath and an irrepressible monster. Heβs locked up in Madsβ basement which heβs not allowed to leave. Mads gives him raw meat to eat which appeases his hunger rather than cooked meat.
Wow!
Omg thank you @doll-granado for your support. ππ The best compliment is a reblog, like or comment from my favourite company. π
So here are Adele's shells so far. πΈVersion 1 was Supia Rosy πΈVersion 2 was Fairyland Feeple60 Mirwen πΈ(current) Version 3 is Zaoll Muse π I think she also grew up the past years. Her current shell looks more mature compared to the older shells and I really like it. π I also like the other shells a lot but unfortunately I can't and don't want to have 3 Adeles. πππ
About βsmartβ BJD shopping
I saw a post yesterday (which is deleted by now) that made me think of writing this. Someone had bought a recast and a user asked them where they got their doll. They mentioned they had bought it from ebay, and it didnβt seem like they knew what they bought or that they bought a recast on purpose. However, from reading the answer post the buyer made it seem like they made a smart choice and just shopped around till they found the best price. THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH BJDs! Unlike many other goods a new BJD model costs pretty much the same everywhere you look. Only difference is when you buy from a dealer, since in some countries they have to pay high customs and those need to be included in the price. You will not be able to find a new legit model for way cheaper if you just keep looking around and search for the perfect shop. A new 300$ doll will pretty much cost new 300$, no matter what. Itβs not like an electronic gadget that can go for 120-200$ depending on the shop you picked. Believe us, if there would be a magical place that manages to sell legit new dolls for cheaper than the creators themselves weβd boost the fuck out of this shop and have blinking banners for it on every forum and BJD related website. There is no such thing though! If you see a new BJD that goes for way, way less than the asking price on the original company website it is with a very high chance a recast (fake, bootleg). Those dolls on ebay and co. are such a case. BJDs are usually sold straight by their creators (artists/companies). Thereβs not some big BJD warehouse where all those shops get their stock from and then can decide on how much they want to sell those for.

hi there! I'm interested in bjd but I'm not sure where to start. firstly, what do people do with their bjd's? photograph them and dress them? thank you :)
Well I paint them, photograph them, sew clothes for them and dress them. π I am sure most ppl "work" on them and take pics of them. Being creative is the best part of this hobby.
I've made a plush bear mask for Ninon. π»ππ
