After a moment of two, Taylor emerged from the bathroom, all the blood washed off their hands. Fixing a smile, they looked down at her, “Sorry. Won’t happen again, I promise.” Lies. It would happen again. They knew it. It was never long before their other form took over. And they didn’t want to imagine what would happen when it did. Hopefully Liberty wouldn’t be around..,

 she still labelled herself as uncertain. worried  being an UNDERSTATEMENT. && she   backed from the wall. pulling herself to her  feet and dusting off laced skirts.

Luckily Taylor was in their ‘normal’ state now. At least that’s what they called it. But nothing was normal anymore. The other them took hold much more frequently than they would prefer.

And here was Liberty, the one person they needed to keep this secret from. If she were to find out about them… Well they didn’t want to think about what would happen.

“I-I’m sorry, Lib!” They called through the bathroom door, washing blood off their hands and arms, “My key was upstairs.” Great excuse. Well done. Everybody give them a round of applause.

  && of course she wasn’t stupid. she knew   something weird was going on. REALLY weird.   but whatever it was, she couldn’t stay mad at   tay. even the sound of his voice calmed her. her   quiet voice sighed as she sunk down the cold wall   beside her. even if she loved him, she would get   this out of him. even if it KILLED her.

It was too much. Taylor couldn’t take it anymore. The stress, it was overwhelming them now. The demon didn’t know what they could do. One way they found would work is to change who they were. They knew it was a bad idea, it could very easily harm the ones they loved. But it was the only way.

So they became sort of… Two people. In the same body. One was their normal self, nobody would notice the difference. They stuffed all their stress and anger into their other self. As long as nobody knew it was there, they would be fine. Sure they got into a lot more danger when their darker form came out to play, but they would be okay. It would all be fine. Nobody would know.
