Yes Blaine said that he cheated because he felt lonely, but did he ever blame Kurt after that? No, he blamed himself.

If Kurt had cheated on Blaine, the fandom would have tried to reason it rather than hating him like they’re hating Blaine.
I’m so sick of everyone calling Blaine an asshole. Sebastian is an asshole. Santana is an asshole. Artie is an asshole. Even Kurt is an asshole sometimes. But they don’t get nearly as much hate for it as Blaine does just for making a mistake.
Quinn cheated and got PREGNANT. She was forgiven instantly and got back together with the guy she cheated on. Puck cheated with Quinn knowing that Finn would hate him for it; no one even cared. Finn cheated on Quinn; whatever, Finchel is endgame anyway. Rachel cheated on Finn; whatever. Kurt cheated on Adam and had meaningless sex with his ex-boyfriend; who the hell cares, Kadam should still be together. Blaine cheated? Unforgivable. SERIOUSLY, GLEEKS?
I love Blaine and he will always be my favorite character, but I want them to cut down his solos because he is getting so much hate for that. And I don’t understand why Darren is getting hate because Blaine has gotten a lot of attention this season, Darren did not write the script.
People take it all too seriously. You guys need to realise that ultimately it’s JUST A TV SHOW.
I truly believe they’ve destroyed Blaines character - and the hair gel just gets progessively worse his hair is literally flat these days!

Idk if you have noticed, but if it wasn’t for Blaine, Kurt wouldn’t have moved to NYC or get that job at vogue(.)com, or get in to NYADA. So I seriously can’t se why people is hating on Blaine so much. I know he cheated, but Kurt could have answered the texts from Blaine because HE HAD TIME.

I’m new to the Glee fandom, only started watching weeks ago, but it looks like a lot of people hate Blaine. I started searching glee stuff like crazy and have come to realize how much people hate on not just Blaine, but Darren himself. Which saddens me.
I personally love him. He’s my favorite charachter on the show. He’s got flaws just like any other human does. If people knew more of his back story and where he comes from they might not hate him so much.
I've seen a lot of people that hate on Blaine because he has so much screentime and solos, but that's because Darren has the talent and along with the others you mentioned helped carry that show after the passing of Cory.

I don’t think you can say Darren/Blaine makes glee worst because its not only his storylines that are bad. The writing in glee has got worst because RIB just don’t care anymore. Yes he gets to many songs but its not darren that writes glee. Stop blaming him and start blaming Rib
I don’t think it’s fair to solely blame Blaine for cheating on Kurt. Kurt supposedly loves Blaine, but he completely neglected him once he got caught up in the Vogue internship. Blaine needed Kurt and he wasn’t there for him. He deserves part of the blame too.
