in a similar vein to my last post. i know revelation can take place whenever you want in the context of the game, since it’s just a matter of when you decide to go to troy’s office and call dex, but it’s always an event that (to me) makes the most sense to happen after the events of sr2. but you could argue it’s meant to be framed as an early game thing (cuz johnny mentions dex n troy at the start and playa talks about visiting troy in the same scene). but it’s super weird to me when you look at it like a start of the game event cuz that’s such an intense overreaction from dex if this happens RIGHT after playa woke up/before they actually get the saints back.

anyway i just remember seeing old posts once where ppl talk about how they always do revelation first and i’m like. that’s crazy. while i’d agree the start of revelation (visiting troy) makes more sense for the beginning of the game, the end of revelation (calling dex and killing julius) makes for such an incredible grand finale and it makes more sense for dex to be afraid for his life after seeing what his old friend has become. and to end sr2 kiling julius? like hello can anyone hear me
