Hello my dear Ryou ( @sports-shounen-scenarios​ )! Yes, I’m your Secret Santa for the KnB Secret Santa 2015 ! :D I hope you like the little present I made for you, when I got the info about you and saw 3 members of Touou among your favorite characters I just knew I had to make something with this wonderful team! It was a lot of fun editing this! The January Animedia gave us a little info on the OVA coming out on 12/24. They talked to a producer, Ohara, who said they asked Fujimaki-sensei for more details about Kuroko’s birthday because there was only a panel in the manga that depicted it. 

Basic facts:

  • Kagami is prepping for the party at his place with the other first years
  • We’ll get to see an unguarded/honest sort of expression from every character who appears 
  • That includes Akashi
  • This is the first time Akashi meets the Kiseki after the Winter Cup
  • Aomine and Akashi apparently have an important conversation 
  • The staff used lines directly from Fujimaki-sensei for that scene
  • Kuroko’s birthday ends up being a really special day for him and in its own way for Akashi as well

Also they mentioned they’re all working hard on the Kurobasu movie! No mention of a date yet though.

Such a foolish act I cannot bear to watch. Letting your one and only advantage slip from your fingers. Back in middle school, after you arrived at your current style, I made you increase the variations of passes, but never let you acquire shooting or dribbling skills. Do you know why I did not? Because I knew that if I did, you would lose your lack of presence someday. Vanishing Drive, Phantom Shot… There is no way a player using such flashy moves would not be noticed, and the nail in the coffin was the buzzer-beater in the semifinals. By learning how to shine halfheartedly, you can no longer become the shadow. Now that you are no longer the phantom sixth man… you are already not even worth as much as a typical player. To think you’d not notice until now it’d end up like this…
