Chandler Riggs gave AMC’s The Walking Dead eight years of his life and his childhood, and AMC’S response was the following:

  1. Tell him that they planned on keeping him on the show for at least the next three years,
  2. allow him to enroll in Georgia University due to its proximity to their filming locations,
  3. allow him to purchase a house near their filming locations,
  4. realize that his eighteenth birthday was coming up, and that he could negotiate for a raise,
  5. decide that that they didn’t want to pay him more money,
  6. fire him, and kill him off the show he gave half his life to,
  7. and not tell him until two weeks before it happened.

What this show did to Chandler is incomprehensibly, inconceivably cruel, and I have no interest in continuing to support it.

This blog will stick around as an archive, and nothing else.

Hershel, who was arguably the only person who would disapprove of Beth and Daryl having a romantic relationship, would have been completely supportive of it. Because he knew Daryl would keep his daughter safe and make her happy. Don’t you think that’s beautiful?
