Cas always wearing Dean’s over sized letter man jacket, and kissing him before and after games. Always cute and chaste before, but then a running leap into Dean’s arms after, wrapping his legs around his sweaty boyfriend’s waist and kissing the daylights out of him for all of the stands and the team to see.

And Dean will always get called out in class for staring at Cas and not paying attention. But eventually Dean stops being embarrassed and just plainly states that he can’t help it- his boyfriend is too beautiful. Making Castiel blush, but then Dean just kisses him right there in class (not too much of course) and the teacher wants to be mad but she can’t because they are both so adorable.

Hormones make you do funny things. Dean is once again reminded of this fact one night in his junior year of high school. His best friend, Cas, is over for a Star Trek marathon and they are sprawled out on his queen bed, shoving handfuls of popcorn into their faces. They come across a scene where Kirk and Uhura kiss in the episode Plato’s Stepchildren. Cas wrinkles his nose distastefully.

“What?” Dean asks, watching his companion glance away from the screen.

Castiel shrugs and pops another piece of the buttery deliciousness that is popcorn into his mouth. Dean jabs his side with his fingers, causing Cas to yelp in surprise and jump slightly. “Tell me!” Cas’ blue eyes glare over at Dean, illuminated only by the television screen. He’s being stubborn and Dean knows of one way to be sure he will hear what’s on the guy’s mind. Dean reaches over, one finger outstretched towards Cas’ neck. Those blue eyes catch every movement and forcefully whack his hand away.

“Dean Winchester, don’t you d-AhhHH!” Castiel’s pupils grow to the size of globes as he lurches forward and crosses his arms to cover his sides, trying to force Dean’s groping hands away. Dean smirks and leans forward to lightly tickle Cas’ exposed neck, causing him to gasp and flail uncontrollably, eventually resulting in him tumbling over the side and landing in a heap of giggles.

Okay, this makes me want to write a HS/country club AU so badly? Like where Dean spends his summers working as a caddy for Lacoste-wearing, Callaway-carrying financiers, and one day he meets Cas - youngest son of the wealthy and intimidating Novak family - who’s just… disarmingly sweet with those pretty blue eyes and Dean is pretty much hopeless when Cas drives out to the green under the guise of saying ‘hello’ to his father and his friends but it’s actually to see Dean and surreptitiously hand him a water bottle and phone number.

Or in a parallel universe, Dean’s the guy dragged to the club by his parents. He hates being fawned over by his mom’s cougar friends, but soon he’s checking into the club every Saturday because the guy teaching tennis is just, wow, scorching. Bedroom hair, bedroom voice, annoyingly nice and did he mention hot? And if he frequents the pool just to see Cas cooling off after his lessons, well, that’s his prerogative; last time he checked, appreciating beauty wasn’t illegal. Of course, Cas’ calm demeanor is also the reason Dean’s completely thrown when they’re alone in the locker room one day and Cas pushes him up against the wall and kisses him like there’s no tomorrow.

Either way, cue lots of shy, flirtatious smiles; sweet, secret kisses and holding hands; and late-night stargazing dates on the golf course. (◡‿◡✿)

dean would make such a big deal of asking cas to prom ok. he would make a huge production of leaving flowers in cas’ locker before school starts.  and he would totally do that jock thing where he gets 4 other teammates to paint PROM on their chests. then dean would be standing on the end with the ? on his chest, a stuffed animal bee held in his hands reading ‘bee mine’.  after turning around from his locker, cas would be blush furiously and mumble out, “yes.” before launching himself into dean’s arms.

the guy with the R painted on his chest would definitely sigh in relief, “finally!” as the two love sick teenagers make out in the middle of the hallway.
