hey everyone, I know I’ve been gone for so long !! I can explain, as you can see, I had to be on hiatus due to exams, and after the exams I had to directly leave to vacation for 2 months, which is why I’ve been gone. But now I am back to my lovely tumblr and computer screen so -- I’d try my best to update you guys with everything that went missing (especially the crack text posts)

I’m so proud of everyone on my dash. 

Whether you’re going to college, applying for a job, becoming more confident with yourself, getting rid of some negativity in your life, writing a story, or simply getting out of bed in the morning and making yourself a cup of coffee. I’m so proud of everyone’s achievements, big or small. You’re all so special. I’m glad that I get glimpses into your lives because it makes me happy to see you all prosper.

To all my followers who are worried about school and life:

  • I almost failed math three times in junior high / high school
  • I never passed any AP exams
  • My SAT scores were mediocre
  • I was four different majors in college and still didn’t figure out what I wanted to do until I was about 26

Currently:

  • I have a Masters and am working on a second
  • I have a job I like in a field I love 
  • I am conversational in Japanese
  • I am aiming to save all the homeless queer youths in NYC

In short:

  • It is okay if you don’t know what you want to do right now
  • You will figure it out
  • Sometimes a random job will lead to a career
  • Sometimes you will only work jobs and never have a career– THAT IS FINE
  • In the long run, no one cares about your GPA
  • A good resume is important!!
  • You will be okay, I promise
