THE SPRING SUMMER '15 UNIQLO UNDERCOVER COLLECTION FOR KIDS - AVAILABLE FROM MARCH
On March 5th, UNIQLO will launch of the 2015 Spring Summer “UU” kids’ line, developed in collaboration with the UNDERCOVER fashion brand. The collection is available exclusively online at www.uniqlo.com. The 2015 Spring Summer collection is a full lineup with twice as many items as the “UU” kids’ 2014 Fall Winter collection which centered on fleece. Toddler sizes* are available for the first time, in a collection of varied colors and patterns, including outerwear, cut-and-sewn, shirts, as well as skirts, jeans and shorts. UNIQLO has worked with UNDERCOVER in the past, and the “UU” kids’ line collaboration was revived with the 2014 Fall Winter collection. UNDERCOVER designers Jun Takahashi and RICO created the line as “Clothes that let kids be kids, clothes for children around the world to enjoy wearing.” Of particular interest this season is the expanded line of popular cardigans for boys, girls and toddlers. UNIQLO offers the line of products to enjoy from early Spring through Summer, from coats and jackets to shorts and polo shirts. UNDERCOVER designer Jun Takahashi and RICO said, “We saw kids wearing the 2014 Fall Winter collection as soon as it launched, and many parents told us that they were really happy that the line had been revived. For this season, we’ve introduced kid-friendly design motifs, such as outer space and floral patterns. It allows kids to express and enjoy their own style.” The “UU” kids’ line, combining UNIQLO’s high-quality basics with UNDERCOVER’s street-inspired high-end fashion, features quality materials with unique designs and colors. Many of the items this season feature a monster character created by UNDERCOVER designer Jun Takahashi. Toddler sizes are 95cm and 100cm / XS, while kids’ sizes are 110-150cm / S-XL.
