“I’m going to drive through Appalachia, should I be scared of the inbred hill folk and the cryptids? 😱😱😱😱” no bitch, be scared of sliding off a mountain into a valley and not being found for months or years.

they’re going to be insinuating Bigfoot got you in YouTube docs while your Ford Taurus is upside down at the bottom of a mountain

children existing in public spaces is genuinely like. necessary for the continuation of society. it doesnt have to be your kids you dont have to volunteer at a daycare or whatever but you need to be able to tolerate the presence of someone who is learning how to exist as a human and interact with people

one less dagger to sharpen. still got scars on my back from your knife. why'd you have to twist the knife. I brought a knife to a gun fight. summers a knife. threw out our cloaks and our daggers. the knife cuts both ways. my twisted knife, my sleepless night. rough on the surface but you cut through like a knife. took this dagger in me and remove it. you know it still hurts underneath my scars from when they pulled my apart but what you did was just as dark.

My fun for the weekend: test stitching a pattern for @beyondthisdarkhouse.

The wash away pattern makes stitching this kind of pattern on finer weave fabric SO simple! I was able to start this piece Friday night and finish it Sunday afternoon. For beginners who are just starting out with embroidering clothing, this is a wonderful tool to help you make even, neat stitches. For more advanced folks, this is a major time saver. I DID have some issues with the adhesive gumming up my needle, but this was easily solved by periodically running the needle through a damp cloth, and drying it off before continuing.

The pattern I was test stitching was meant for blackwork, but I did something more experimental with it, and used a combination of outline stitch, satin stitch, shadow stitch, cross stitch, and back stitch to execute the sample of this adorable acorn pattern. It gives me huge Hobbit vibes, and I definitely want to try something like this on a blouse or apron at some point.

For folks who want to try this kind of thing on your own projects, check out beyondthisdarkhouse's etsy shop, The Haberdasheress.
