i think what repels me the most about about the adaptations of the cyberpunk rpg is that the music choices are so banal and safe. Like i dont expect a thoroughly corperate product to accurately hone in on and portray subcultures but like cmon, At least feign putting the punk in.

can i give an addition to an artist statement i never posted?
i made this when i was feeling so isolated from other people, the bunch of oil pastel works i made all at once were made out of necessity for me in order to just.. feel connected to something, anything
i was expecting the response to this work to be along my line of thinking but most if not all responses i did receive from internet ppl and friends alike were along the lines of: “ahh, they’re playing together” … which really surprised me and i didn’t understand that perspective
now that i’m a bit out of that funk and trying to have some reflection moments.. like, oh my god of course people see is that way! and i thought this was an expression of my loneliness but i willed into existence obvious connection between three creatures
i can’t wait to share more art in 2024 !!!!
