The first draft of all Porsches. The 1939 ‘Type 64′ was the first automobile to bear the name provided by its designer Ferdinand Porsche. It’s value is currently estimated to be about $20m despite its dubious past: it was predominantly made with parts provided by Volkswagen during the Nazi era.  The car is the first and sole remainder of the three examples believed completed. It is the personal car driven by both Prof. Dr. h.c. Ferdinand Porsche and his son Ferry Porsche. It is the oldest car to ever wear Porsche’s iconic wide-font script badge. Owned for 46 years by the successful private racing driver Otto Mathé and raced in Austria from 1949 to 1953 & achieving a class win at the 1951 Austrian Alpine Rally.
