And Birkin would only answer that retort with a small laugh under his breath. If Alex was to be considered anything, it was amusing if not completely annoying. There was a weird balance. "As much as I’d love to relish in your sibling rivalries, I’m assuming you’re here for something? Or is this actually a social visit?”
"Its so cute when they try to find out what I'm up to at such an early stage in the conversation. Really, it is. It warms my non-existant heart." Alex replied, with bright amused eyes. He couldn't help it, this was just too much fun. "But in all honesty, I heard the Monster of Raccoon City was alive and I came to hear your story. I rather like stories. Who knows, I may have a few to tell myself."

He couldn’t help the slight smirk that tugged at his lips. "Oh… are you jealous?" Admittedly, Birkin didn’t know much about the Wesker children. No more then what vague information that Albert actually shared with him. Of course, Alex was the only other one still alive. It makes one think if the others were all killed off for being just as obnoxious.
"I'd hardly be jealous or someone who forced themselves to be around someone like Albert. Let alone someone who was under the charade that he was actually good company." Alex replied, snark and irritation dripping from the words that flowed from his mouth. Birkin would be fun to mess with.

Alex raised his eyebrows in amusement and smiled at the scientist before him. It was amazing to see that G could keep even the simplest of creatures alive and well after what he had been through. "Quite the mouth on you, Birkin. I'm sure my brother knew it well."

I gathered a compilation of interesting facts from various books I’ve read:
- It was previously thought that newborn babies weren’t conscious and couldn’t feel pain. So often circumcisions and surgery would be performed without any anesthesia.
- The popular theory with consciousness and fetuses is that the fetus is sedated in the womb. They are bathed in a fluid that contains natural anesthetics and sleep inducing chemicals.
- Locked in syndrome is when a person is completely aware but can’t move any part of their body except for their eyes.
- Using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), researchers have been able to induce hallucinations in people, such as making them think they have smelled burnt toast or moved their arm when they really haven’t
- Psychosomatic is when a mental factor produces physical effects. The most bizarre, is pseudocyesis or when one starts to exhibits symptoms of pregnancy even though they really aren’t pregnant.
- The thalamus and prefrontal cortex of the brain are thought to be vital for consciousness
- Your consciousness can only register one item at a time. Sure you can hold a baby and read a book at the same time, but usually one of the tasks will require less attention and be automatic (holding a baby). Think of it this way, you can’t read two books at the same time can you?

- MOST HORRIFIC EVP EVER RECORDED: In January 2007, the Central New York Ghost Hunters investigated an old hotel in upstate New York. According to them it was the most active ghost hunt. - JONESTOWN DEATH TAPE: An audio recording made on November 18, 1978, at the Peoples Temple compound in Jonestown, Guyana immediately preceding and during the mass suicide and murder of over 900 members of the cult.
- THE INTERROGATION CHAMBER 3D AUDIO: A 3D audio is one in which it feels like it’s happening RIGHT in front of you. This is an audio recording that contains violent material of a rough interrogation.
- THE ORIGINAL NIGHT STALKER: The Original Night Stalker is the name given to an unidentified serial killer and rapist who murdered at least ten people in Southern California from 1979 through 1986. This is a recording on one of the victim’s answering machine.
- SOUNDS OF SPACE: Space maybe mostly empty but boy it creates some horrific sounds.
- MOCK ACTIVATION OF A NUCLEAR ATTACK: So this is what the end of the world sounds like
- THE BLOOP: A mysterious sound from the bottom of the deep ocean. Some say it was gigantic sea creature but scientists speculate it was a large iceberg scraping the ocean floor.
- OPERATION WANDERING SOUL: Also known as “Ghost Tape Number 10” was an audio mix the US military used for psychological operations in the Vietnam War against the North Vietnamese. It played deeply on the Vietnamese belief of ancestor worship, spirits and the afterlife.
- RED FOX SOUNDS: What did the fox say? Something I don’t want to hear in the middle of the night.
