My emo fic moment that will never leave me is from Silver Springs by lifesbetterasamermaid. I’m sure you’ve read it P, it’s when Kings Row is playing a show again and they’re singing Night song and then you get THE MOST EPIC scene. I cry with a lot of things you know I’m very emotional and all of her fics are just incredibly well written, pure poetry but the words on that particular part are just a masterpiece I couldn’t stop and I could feel the tears coming but I just had to finish it all like in a heartbeat because the way she’s going about how Willow feels nineteen again tangled with Harry on his dorm but it also talks about how they’ve grown up now and then it ends with the most DEVASTATING SENTENCE I KNOW IT BY HEART. “And sometimes when you grow up, you lose the things you love.” I had to put my iPad away after reading that it DESTROYED ME.

But such a good fic lol pure gold!

YES I know exactly what scene you’re talking about. That entire fic is like: pain. Here is pain. I love it. @lifesbetterasamermaid is a genius, sooo poetic in all her works.

i- i could honestly weep right now. this is so kind and i am in absolute shock that anything i wrote still resonates with people. thank you??? especially that line, which to this day is my favorite thing i have ever written, so thank you :)

hi my friend!!! congrats on graduating and i’m sending all the positive thoughts to you for the move, from experience, it’s terrifying but so worth it in the end! writing rei and harry being in such transitional stages was such a cathartic thing for me after moving to a new city and i am so happy people have and still connect with their story :)

So she ignores the stares, and the whispers, and she focuses on her music. She thinks of all the times she’s stepped out onto the ice, for fun or to compete, and she thinks about how today she’s not only going to reclaim some part of herself — but she’s going to become a different version of herself.
